Best Western Lakewood Inn

This hotel was very easy to find. The gentlemen behind the front desk when I checked in/out were very friendly and helpful. I found the lap desk with cookies/mints absolutely adorable and very nice to use while in bed and watching TV, since the desk was next to the TV and not in front of it. I did not try the waffles or eggs, but the sausage was good, and I liked the individually wrapped options of bread and English muffins. The coffee was very good. I don't know if my stay was quite worth the $100+, but overall it was a pleasant experience.

The pillows could have been firmer, and the bedspread was scratchy.

We stayed in 4 different hotels on our road trip and this one had the best breakfast, but it ended half hour earlier, so we almost missed it. We didn't get in till 11pm and the staff was very accommodating and friendly.

The hot tub wasn't hot, but he even warned us that he had just put fresh water in and it would take a bit to warm up. By time it warmed up we had to get back to out room to shower and check out, so that was disappointing because we picked this for the location and hot tub. The bath tub didn't want to drain.

2 Complaints. Number 1 Major One!!! Extremely Way to many chemicals in the pool! Walked in pool room and instant burning of eyes but the horrible part is that is TURNED MY DAUGHTERS BEAUTIFUL BLONDE HAIR GREEN!!! ALSO TURNED MY NIECES HAIR BLUE GREEN!!! ITS AWFUL!! Have to go to.a Salon to have it fixed!!!!! 2nd complaint beds to hard.

Excellent location. Friendly front desk staff. The breakfast was not great. I would stay again though because free breakfast is rarely good and doesn't make the quality of the stay any less. The facility was clean and I loved that there were mints and cookies on the bed when we checked in.

The breakfast area was very cramped and the sausage was not good (weird texture). It would have been better to have fewer items of higher quality for breakfast and remove some tables to make it less cramped.

Very clean

Have to smoke outside and at night it causes an unsafe feeling because of drunks that are room to room and in and out of hotel and hang in parking lot. All three times I’ve stays this as been a problem. Shouldn’t hve to be scared to go out and smoke at night to the point of sitting in my car with doors locked and calling husband to watch from window of room when I’m getting out of car to go back in.

I loved everything there always friendly and helpful every time we come and greet us the rooms are always clean my car group comes here every year for import fast of the last 3 years

I didn’t like I paid and reserved a ground floor room, when I arrived check in and both rooms were on the second floor and specifically reserved one for the ground . didn’t get a explanation why or anything

It was nice and very friendly

The beds are like sleeping on a hard slab. Also the extra chair in the room was so small almost child size. Very short seat & uncomfortable. Like the wood floors but when you would get out of the chair it would slide on you. Maybe a small area rug under that area.

it was very laid back. private and relaxing.

for having a king suite our bed was very uncomfortable. the pillows were only half pillows and we just couldn't get comfortable. highly recommend atleast a mattress pad or something. and larger pillows.

clean, quiet and was very close to buckeye lake.

bed was a little too soft and can tell it was on its last days.
