Economy Inn Toledo-Perrysburg

Clean room. Basic amenities. Close to where we needed to be. Bed comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave worked great. Near restaurants and gas station. Very quiet even though near interstate. Great staff-left clotges. He called and held clothes till we got back.

No coffee. Vanity light not working properly. Appeciate the effort of the desk lamp to help. Commode loose. No laundry bag. Toilet roll holder too high. Need place to put clothes in.More hangers Need additional chair. Need second beside table. Need clock.

It was a wonderful stop along the way to Canada. I stopped to get gas and shop at Costco and suddenly was too tired to drive on. On bookings.com, up pops this little place for 60 USD for the night. Ground floor immaculate room, in the heart of shopping, quiet location even located next to interstate, and someone at Reception at 8:30pm.

Not a problem for me, but FYI for other travelers, no workout room, no pool, and no breakfast.

Don't let the low price or the outside of the Economy Inn fool you. I usually stay at Comfort Inns or similar nicer looking places. So I was a little taken aback with the apparent age of this motel. Plus, it was a little odd getting my key through a slot in the glass. But the guy behind it was really nice! The location is great, right off the highway, but we never heard the highway, nor actually any of the other guests. Being one story, we were able to park right in front of our door! Also, the room was as nice, modern and clean as I've ever stayed in. Granted we were staying only 1 night, but I would have been fine staying there longer.

It's actually a small thing, but you can only access the parking lot from the NB side, so you need to make a u-turn. But getting back on the expressway is alternativrly super easy!

I was apprehensive when we saw their large faded sign, but our room was nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. We just needed to stop for the night and continue our travels. The Waffle House, in an adjoining parking lot, was open late and provided both a late night snack and an early breakfast. They were quite good. You really can't beat the value! $70 for 2 queen beds/refrigerator/microwave/working A/C!!

Well kept, clean, and efficient. I also liked that there was a mini fridge and microwave included.

The fridge wasn’t turned on ahead of time, so I had to plug it in myself and wait for it to get cold to store my things. It wasn’t a huge deal, but if I had been traveling with something that was very temp sensitive I would’ve had to throw it away. Other than that, I loved everything.

This is a very nice refurbished motel with good beds and bathrooms. Very clean. There is no breakfast or even coffee available, but there is a restaurant across the parking lot. I would definitely stay here again. If you are just looking for a place to sleep it is a very good value.

No complaints. We enjoyed our stay.

This Inn is a hidden gem. It was clean and comfortable, very good beds, very usable HVAC, quick wi-fi, good hot and cold water, at a very fair price. Without GPS it was a challenge to find, but it is in the shadow of The Waffle House. Breakfast right out the door. The Inn is only one floor and parking was at the doorway.

T-he pillows are very thick. The bathroom is tight - probably uncomfortable for an extra-large person.

The property is located next to a waffle house and a Speedy gas station. The owners are very nice. The outside doesn't look that great. The room is comfortable; bed is good, lighting is good, everything works. No breakfast or coffee maker in room. But refrigerator and microwave are helpful. Close to major roads, so it's easy to get to downtown Toledo. It's very quiet at night. It's a low key motel, without bells and whistles, but it is a perfect way to see Toledo, and the price is right.

It would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room.

The location was good, close to the expressway and plenty of parking. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a hard copy of the TV channel list--that is unusual and VERY helpful.

I had to check in at the night window. They're still using Covid restrictions. There was no breakfast.

It is what it states to be. Nothing fancy. A bed, a bathroom, a couple amenities, and a locking door.

Internet speed is quite slow. In the day of 100Mb as a standard low end speed having a maximum of 2.5Mb makes it difficult to stream over the internet enabled TV.
