The staff were extremely friendly and the hotel was relatively new. The room was nice and they had filtered water in the hall.

The shower wasn’t very clean toward the far side. I didn’t notice until ready to shower, so just stayed under the shower head. Probably missed it on the website, but was shocked by the $47/night parking fee. We could have found a place on the street but there were a number of homeless tents nearby and didn’t want to take a chance to start our vacation off with a busted window.

I enjoyed my stay at the Canopy. The room they initially gave me was overlooking a parking lot, and there was just something depressing about the room in general, so I went down to the lobby and requested a change and they gave me a much nicer room with a greatly improved view. So that was a good start. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The free coffee in the morning was a nice touch. Maid service was only upon request due to the pandemic, but that didn't bother me at all; I pretty much prefer it that way. Location is excellent; central to everything in NW Portland. I would definitely stay here again.

location when we went the homeless situation was horrible parts of the city look like a city dump from all the trash certain areas we were told do not go down because of the crime and tents everywhere!!!! unfortunately we cut our stay short would love to go back when the city can help their homeless situation. we did have some amazing food while we were there!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Secure building. Large room with a great closet area for suitcases. Stylish room. Right around the corner from shops, restaurants, breweries. Short drive over the river for other neighborhoods. Close to hiking and parks.

Everything! This hotel is so cute and located in the heart of downtown. The staff went over and above to accommodate us since we arrived early. They were all so friendly. We came downstairs in the evening to get a snack and had the best desserts! Thank you so much and we'll be back!

The location was in a decent location and the front desk staff was very welcoming at check-in.

The room did not have a mini fridge. Instead, a cooling drawer. I don't mind eco-friendly, but my floor ran out of ice and had to travel to other floors to find some to cool the drawer.

The hotel had a very Portland hipster feel to it. The room had concrete floors and a cool lounge chair with a tray for hanging out and eating/drinking/writing while looking out the window (though my room didn't have much of a view). You're right in the heart of the Pearl District and a short walk away from Powell's Books, so there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby.

This isn't the hotel's fault – more of a symptom of the times – but the area around the hotel feels like a ghost town. The Pearl District used to be thriving and busy, but it seems like it was hit hard by the pandemic, so many businesses are closed or operating on reduced hours.

Large room and upbeat atmosphere. Very comfortable bed and very quiet. They are still working on the hotel but it looks great. The staff were amazeballs and very accommodating. Quick with getting us a taxi when needed, and very friendly. The restaurant on the ground floor is very comforting, warm and very inviting. Food menu is a bit small but what they offer tastes great. We will be back for business or even a romantic night out of town.

I liked that they offered filtered water and gave every room a glass jar to fill up. The rooms had a nice blackout curtain and were spacious. The staff was friendly. Hotel was walking distance to a lot of things. It had street parking nearby.

It was close to a lot of homeless people. Slight issue with the restaurant staff messing up our order a few times.

Our room was beautiful, and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on! The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

I was disappointed that the bar/restaurant was closed, but due to Covid, that is to be expected.
