Historical building, restaurant was good and I loved the vibe of the hotel. When I booked I thought only queen sized rooms were available but would have booked a king suite. Very close to the venue we were attending, but did not hear the music from the other 2 nights that the ballroom had shows so my wife and I slept pretty well.

I wasn’t super excited about communal bathrooms just due to the nature of other people (not flushing toilets and leaving water on the floor). I would recommend getting some shower sandals if you get a queen room. On our first night after we were awake for almost 20 hours our next door neighbors were sloppy drunk and they unfortunately had the “keep on knocking” room which apparently applied to our room too… They were also yelling and I think got locked out. Thankfully there were earplugs provided in the side table but I am wondering if that happens a lot.

This was our 4th stay in the last 5 years. We liked our last room #305, and will request it again when we return next fall '24. I have to say that the soaking pool in the basement is our favorite. Our last day we tried your breakfast burrito, which we split because we're not big breakfast eaters and it was great.

It's a cute place and in the middle of the activities we were headed for.

I had never stayed were there was a shared bathroom down the hall but after a few times of using, it wasn't bad and they were very clean so that was good.

I stayed in the king suite. it was really nice. bed was comfy. had a good view. the coffee in the morning was pretty decent. staff sent me in a good direction for lunch. went to a show at the ballroom and a room here is definitely the move with its proximity, and they gave me a 15% discount with my concert ticket.

Funky decor, mismatched fixtures, central location, access to transit, food/entertainment downstairs, soaking pool (think giant hot tub).

Private/shared bathrooms down the hall (they were kept squeaky clean though!); in-room sink was next to a large window that could have used a sheer curtain for modesty but to allow outside light; light fixtures in room could have been brighter.

Nice, themed room with at least it's own sink and mirror. Clean. Good water from tap. Great price. Easy reservations.

Shared bathroom and no coffee in room (but it was a small room)
