Hotel was exceptional for a Hampton Inn Harrisburg/Hershey. Updated and clean. Breakfast was well stocked and maintained. Appreciated the quiet hours signs as hotel has a tendency to have children running the halls. Wish there was similar sign at outdoor pool area for nighttime activity as children were screaming at 9:45pm (my room was located directly outside). Fire pit area is a nice addition. Front desk personnel and housekeeping staff friendly. Overall a great experience and will be returning.

Complimentary breakfast area: The first day our breakfast was great. The gentleman who took care of the area kept up on everything and was constantly cleaning and was very friendly. Everything was stocked and taken care of. (please see below for what we didn't like. The shuttle service was FANTASTIC! Very friendly driver an very quick to respond. She was very funny and a joy to start and end our day with!

Complimentary breakfast area: The next day the tables were all dirty and the napkins were gone. The food was cold and there was no ice on the yogurt. The person was at the front desk talking almost the whole time we were there and not in the area if anything was needed. We went by later and the tables were still dirty.

BOOKING.COM NEVER SENT OUR RESERVATION TO THE HOTEL. Amanda, the manager contacted them to resolve the issue. She was professional, efficient and friendly. Lucky for us the hotel still had a few rooms available so we were able to stay at the hotel, on a super busy weekend.

The fact that booking.com made no apologies for their bad service, which could have sent our weekend into a tailspin.

Hampton feels like home to us, its the hotel line we prefer. The staff were exceptional! They were very cherry, helpful and pleasant, went out of their way.

The extras in our king room were missing. For what we paid we expected the usual, like refrigerator, microwave. No tissues in the holder, no note pad or pen. The breakfast was most disappointing, just cold cereal, no juice, only apples as fruit, the decaf coffee was cold, tasteless. We know these are result of cutbacks due to the virus event, but still disappointing, for Hampton.

The staff snd the facilities were great. However, I found that most guests were NOT wearing their masks even though all the emails and online information said it was mandatory in communal areas. This is only the 2nd time in the past 1.5 years I have stayed in a hotel. My last experience in a hotel was in the Philly area about a month ago and everyone was very good about wearing their face masks. Of course the CDC have changed their recommendations recently.
