When we arrived, the woman at the front desk was very pleasant and welcoming. We had never stayed at a Staybridge before. The room was a nice surprise! We had a couch seating area and a king bed. The small kitchen had a microwave and stove top, but no oven. It did have a nice size refrigerator. There were also glasses, cups, and dishes, as well as silverware. The bathroom area had a vanity with a large mirror and a full closet. The toilet and tub/shower had a door for privacy. By the way, the shower was a.ma.zing! It was strong, which we like and warmed up fast! Also, there were Dove brand shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. At the sink, they had Dove brand hand wash and lotion. The king bed was VERY comfortable. While our room faced the front - where cars entered - we did not notice much noise. The room was also clean, which is important to us! We had breakfast two days, and both days were good, offering protein options of eggs, meat, and yogurt, along with fruit, cereals, waffles, and bagels. Our only disappointment was the fruit - it was all frozen, not fresh, except for apples. They also offer a light "meal" 2 nights midweek. One night was tacos, the other was spup and sandwiches. There was free wine and beer, though we are not big drinkers. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by this stay and would highly recommend this hotel, especially for the price!

There was frozen fruit at breakfast instead of fresh. Honestly, that is the only thing we did not like.

The mirrors were my favorite part! Loved the bathroom mirror! The bed was very comfortable and easy to nap in! I really liked the bedside lamps. The toilet paper was a super cute touch! Also the fact you have dishware was nice as well! DENISE in the kitchen was my FAVORITE part! So sweet and easy to carry on a conversation! That woman deserves recognition!

The other staff weren’t like…. Open. Or well you never got a smile from them. The other guy in the kitchen was great. I’m talking like front desk at night and at leave we’re not like happy or anything. They helped me, but just didn’t seem happy to be there.

Comfortable bed

Somehow I was double booked and didn’t find out that I was double booked for two rooms until my check in date. I canceled the extra room and was told later that day that everything had been taken care of the extra room was canceled after the hotel responded to an email from booking.com requesting that the extra reservation be canceled without any charges because I had no knowledge of the extra reservation before hand. Currently I am disputing Charges of 400 plus dollars for a second room that I never used or knew that was reserved😡

The breakfast was great. Plenty of choices. Room clean and spacious. Loved the kitchenette. Free soda and coffee available. Liked Staybridge so much we are now staying at the Staybridge Suites in Rock Hill, SC. Was not familiar with Staybridge Suites before this current trip. Found them on line. They looked really nice.

Didn’t have a working clock in the room. No PBS on tv lineup. We had to have hangers brought up to the room.Not enough carts available when we arrived. They need to be monitored better and inform guests carts need to be returned as soon as luggage is unloaded(we had to wait a 1/2 hr before one became available).

I wasn’t aware there was a major event going on right next to the hotel, but even with all the chaos from those patrons - the staff kept super friendly and upbeat. Breakfast was easy going first thing in the morning to pop down and grab something before heading off to work. Location is super convenient if needing to travel to downtown Harrisburg for work.

I typically prefer natural light, but with the large crowd of men outside utilizing the courtyard I had to keep the drapes closed. Granted this is situational, just a thought for women when booking to ask for a room on a higher level to ensure comfort and safety.

Not luxurious but very cozy feel. Excellent for families as well. This is my second or third time staying there.

Only issue I had was when I left my key inside the room. I asked a replacement key before leaving the hotel only to find out the replacement key was not activée when I return very late. Came back around 2am and had to tell in the lobby 20min to have someone come to the front desk. The attendant was sleepy. Understandably since it was so late.

Friendly staff and comfortable bed.

Very disappointed with the &75 pet fee that we were not informed of before booking. The note I received from Bookings.com was no additional charge for our special request which was our dog. When e arrived we h go kind out different snd had to pay it. I would have booked somewhere else. In Chester, PA we only paid $25, which was acceptable! $75 was ROBBERY!

The heavy set woman who was working the front desk overnight needs to find a new job. She was unpleasant and rude from the first time we saw her, and not only to us. Several other guests we spoke to had a similar opinion and experience. She practically chased us out of the pantry, and looked at us as if we didn't belong there, and was just miserable. Retrain or reassign her to a job that does not involve interaction with guests. EVERYONE else on staff was pleasant and helpful except for her...sorry I didn't get her name. You guys can figure that out. Overnight on the desk on 3/4-3/5/23.

I liked how close it was to the expo. The place was clean and quiet in the hallways.

There wasn’t much in the cooler in the commissary to buy for drinks. There was no blow dryer in the bathroom like advertised. The pullout couch bed mattress is AWFUL. The tub was still dirty. It almost looked like old blood or test mixed with water pooled up in our tub and dried there.

This was a really nice hotel, that was worth the price. It was a nice surprise that they offered free appetizer like dinners Monday-Wed that were delicious. Breakfast was a buffet style and was different the 3 days we were there. Everything was great. The decor in the rooms were modern, clean and pleasant and the bathroom was spacious. The shower was great. The hotel was fully booked but I never heard noise in the hallway nor next to our room. We will come back here for sure.

I really have no complaints of this hotel.
