Managers were rude & the employee at check-in was flirting with men but rude to me. Refrigerator was not cold in my room, was charged an additional fee without consent and to a card not mine which was declined so I was locked out of my room with 2 small children for 10 minutes

Room was comfortable and clean, location was excellent

There was one woman on staff. She did her very best, but she was overwhelmed. There was no hand soap in most rooms (they are replacing bars with bottles on the wall, but clearly that project isn’t done and the rooms are being rented. The pool heater was out so the pool was closed. But the part that WAS NOT THE HOTELS FAULT….we booked a two queen room that, according to booking.com sleeps 5. There are no rooms on premises that sleep 5. Luckily my parents had their own room and I could throw a kid in with them, but had we been traveling alone, we would have had to book a second room. Again, NOT the hotels fault, but very frustrating.

I typically don't eat the Continental Breakfast, but did partake in both mornings. The food was delicious and there was great variety.

When we checked in, it was after 2:00am and we were not aware that our reservation would be considered a no-show and be cancelled. We were always going to be arriving late and because it was cancelled, we had to wait almost an hour to be reinstated. I had pre-paid and the hotel could not refund my credit card immediately so I had to pay twice for the same room. The staff was trying to be accommodating but at 2am, my husband and I were exhausted and didn't appreciate having to wait 45 minutes to finally check in.

Room temperature remained constant and bed was very comfortable. PS) We're from North Carolina, not Indonesia. ;-)

Major complaint was that I requested our room be 'made up' the next day. No one came to change towels, clean bathroom, empty wastebasket and make our bed. For what we paid, nearly $400. for 2 nights, I think someone could have made our bed, changed our towels and cleaned our bathroom. None of the above was done, even after second request. Seemed 'Covid' was more of an excuse than a reality.

This was a nice hotel not too far from many attractions. The breakfast was really good and the staff was very friendly. The room was pretty clean. Good value.

It was a little tricky finding parking and the pool can get busy when they host swim lessons. I wouldn't say it's exceptionally clean but they were short staffed so I get it, not their fault.

Reception Staff were friendly.

Their wifi system was down so that the receptionists could not relocate my reservation information, could not take my business visa card for the reservation ( changed from original at booking.com) and my guest and I needed to go to the front desk every time either one of us needed to get into our room. When I checked in, they promised me that someone would be giving me a call about my reservation payment. No one did and the front desk was always busy whenever I called for three days to inquire about that.

Staff was friendly and caring. Quick and east check-in and check-out. Breakfast was good and coffee was excellent. Parking was part of the room fee and convenient.

Hampton Inn Pittsburg-Monroeville needs to hire more staff and provide an overall clean-up outside and throughout the facility. The room needs an interior simplification and strengthen of towel racks, toilet paper holder, and so on that can withstand the heavy use and many guests that will go through the room.

Issues with Booking.com and Hampton Inns system- I paid in full two weeks prior which showed in the system. Front desk wouldn’t allow me to check-in despite that. I had to call Booking.com who then had to call Hampton Inn. Bathroom was a bit dusty with hairs on the floor.

The location of the hotel is conveniently located close to the turnpike, E-Z off and on! The room as very clean, the bed was comfortable! Loved the pillows! Bath and shower were very clean with good lighting, great to put your makeup on by! Breakfast was very enjoyable, especially liked the cheese omelets and the bacon was outstanding! Three stars for the coffee too!

Everything was great. The room was clean, staff was nice, pool was open, and it wasn't crowded.

The main hall floors by the elevators was a little dirty but that's because of the amount of snow being tracked in. The pool appeared to look dirty. Is there a sign that says there is additional parking in the back. We may have overlooked it. Perhaps make it more apparent for guests so they're not hunting for limited spaces in the front.
