I stayed here with my family (my wife, my kids: 11 years old daughter and 7 years old son) as a stop point when I went back to Michigan from Washington D.C. When we arrived at the hotel fist, my family felt a bit scared about neighborhood but it was totally safe place. Easy access to Pittsburgh downtown, and you can also find a couple of nice restaurants and bars just by 3 minutes car drive around the same river side. We loved atmosphere inside the hotel and the room. Our kids loved the bunk bed in the family room. Bed mattress were very comfortable. You may have a chance to meet the hotel owner in morning time. He was very kind, nice and helpful. His dog was so cute. Unfortunately we couldn't bring bikes due to carrier trouble for this trip but I can highly recommend this hotel for bikers.

Shower pressure was week.

A big room in the entry to hang out and talk with other travellers where you could have coffee and breakfast. Very welcoming to cyclists, with the things the person travelling by bike needs - secure, place to store the bike, tools and amenities to repair the bike, multiple beds in most rooms so you can easily share with travel mates, access to a fridge and stove, etc. Also, lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Bathrooms are across the hall from the rooms and you have to enter a code to get in.

it was so unique! room with 4 singles was perfect for our group as we each had our own bed. facility was gorgeous. fresh pastries were unexpected!

No elevator, so we had to climb steps! breakfast/evening snacks was a bit challenging knowing what was what but the set up was lovely.

This unique property and the exceptional hospitality and sincere kindness displayed by both owners (husband and wife) made us feel like we were staying with friends. A MUST stay anytime you're around downtown.

Nothing that we didn't like--to be honest I wish we would have known about this place sooner! It's a hidden gem!

The owners were incredibly friendly and gave us a few recommendations for places to visit around Pittsburgh. Being down in the common area/lobby for breakfast was great fun and gave us a chance to chat with people from all over!

The wi-fi was a little spotty at times, but that's nowhere near a deal-breaker

Comfortable space. Great coffee and healthy breakfast. I appreciated the willingness of the owners to accommodate our requests, their attention to our needs was outstanding. I was very pleased with their response.

A little pricey.

Great place with somewhat gothic atmosphere, cozy rooms and very nice owners, knowledgeable on the area, willing to help and five advice. Highly recommended!

Nothing really

The location was great, parking available on the street right outside! The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. There was a small mini fridge in the room which was useful! Check in was a breeze! Would stay again at a later date.

beautiful historic building, really friendly owners, Peabody the dog!! the location it’s like a 10 min walk from every bar in southside perfect!!

Great coffee was freshly brewed and make your own concept felt like home. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we could want.
