Location was excellent, we were going to the "Waterfire" show, the hotel was within walking distance to the rivers and a lot of quality restaurants. Our receptionist, Molly, was extremely helpful, personable and a pleasure to see whenever we returned from any of our outings. We had a wonderful waitress, Christina, at breakfast. Very cheery and efficient, our breakfast was a pleasant experience mainly due to Christina. We also really enjoyed the unlimited coffee, snacks, and water.

bathrooms need better cleaning, hair in bathroom when checked in, needs better vacuuming in rooms

Great amount of space in both the room and bathroom! King bed was super comfy. Hooray for the late check out (we work nights so not having to be up before 10am was a bonus). Bed was comfy, and it was wonderfully convenient that there are usb and outlets built into the nightstand amenities (so many hotels still don’t have that). Also, that valet text system was cool. Thanks for feeling boutique-ish but being up with the times!

We waited about 30min to get our car, but that was most likely because there seemed to be a baby shower arriving as we departed, so this sentence is more for me to say hey we see you running around and we’re smart enough to be situationally aware (because let’s face it, people are idiots and common sense ain’t all that common), but if we were some of those said idiots we probably would have needed a check in from the kids just to say hey we haven’t forgotten about you or you’re next on the list or whatever it is you might need to placate them. Not to take away from how the boys were hustling around, I just don’t want any guests getting snippy with your staff! It’s hard to find good help these days. Thanks again!!

Got in late, my feet hurt and they offered to fetch and fill my ice bucket, gave me a fan as requested. Comfy bed and pillows. Great location. Valet parking was more helpful than I realized it could be. Needed something from my car at 2am and the host offered to get it from my car for me since the valet folks wouldn't be in for a few hours. Gave me trail mix and bottled water while I waited. The entry is huge, stunning really, with marble floors.

I do wish there had been a sofa but it was one of the last rooms, last minute booking. I was happy to get a room in Providence.

Checking in was quick and easy. The staff was extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. There was light refreshments in the lobby available 24 hours. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and very quiet.

The door that led to my room in the adjacent room, did not lock. However, I did not tell management of this problem. Other than that everything else was wonderful.

The rooms were very charming and very comfortable. We slept great there. The location is good with the Providence theatre right down the street. It’s an easy walk to attractions such as the Athenaeum, RISD, and the waterfront park. There are a couple cute shops down Westminster Street nearby. it’s close to the interstate and a quick drive to Atwells for delicious Italian food. There’s easy access parking less than a block away. All three guest services hosts we interacted with were nice and helpful. I will definitely stay again if I come to Providence.

The room was definitely comfortable for 4 adults. The queen beds and the couch pull-out queen bed were excellent. The shower had great pressure to utilize the massage setting on the showerhead. Loved the coffee service in the lobby. Perfect for a pick me up after a long day of being a tourist. Restaurants and coffee shops were within walking distance.

Only problematic issue was confusion with the valet. Though it was a busy weekend, they often forgot our car pickup messages. We had to wait for up to 20 minutes for our car to arrive from valet.

We only stayed for one night, but it had everything we needed. The rooms were nice and clean with comfortable bedding. The way the rooms were spaced out I didn’t feel like you could hear other people right next door. We were so close to the wedding venue at the Pavilion by Grace. There were also several places that we could grab a drink and some food steps away from the hotel. We liked the fact that we could valet park or use the parking lot very close to the hotel.

The hotel and rooms are spotless. They have a coffee and tea service downstairs which has cookies or scones. We used this as a base for the Newport Jazz festival so we did not do our usual exploration of the town and neighborhood.

There were a lot of unhoused people in the near vicinity.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel is quaint. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Our room was fine, you had to ask for daily service, which we didn’t. The cookies at night were so good in the lobby. We ate breakfast one day in the restaurant and it was good.

Wedding band played to midnight. So loud couldn’t hear our tv. I had to wear earbuds to block out the noise. The desk said most people were at the wedding so not many complaints . I didn’t pay that much money to spend my first night in my room to be blasted out. I wanted to rest after traveling. Hotel was booked so couldn’t change rooms. I think I should have been discounted my room rate for that night. She said it says on their website they have weddings in season. Nope, didn’t see that when I booked online. If they played inside the hotel in the reception room instead of outside it may have been better. They had another wedding the next night, but music ended earlier. I would check if it is a wedding weekend first before booking.
