Hampton Inn-Pawtucket, RI

The staff was amazing. The ease of getting what I needed was a huge help. They were on top of everything. For example, the ice machine was broken on our floor. We simply used the one on the other floors. The next day, the ice machine was back in working order.

The room was clean, on the surface. Acceptable. That's all I can really ask for, but the room was in need of a deep clean. The walls had stains, it was dusty and combwebby in corners of the room, and on lamps. The pool was also in need of some TLC. There was a green mold near the chair lift, and the floor felt slimy. The kids could care less, so it was good enough. My allergies didn't help, and it's just about me personally.

The hotel had free parking and complimentary breakfast. There was a full-service restaurant on premises. Pawtucket is a 10-minute drive from Providence but is a town with its own restaurants, shops, and history to explore if you are visiting. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable of location and things to do in the surrounding areas, and went above to accommodate special requests. The room was nicely updated and clean. The bed was fairly comfortable. The fitness room was clean and well stocked. Coffee was not bad, and breakfast was decent compared to the standard hotel breakfast.

The elevator was super small. We could barely get the hotel luggage cart into the elevator with 2 people. Extremely tight fit.

Breakfast was great. If I had any complaint it would be that the oatmeal was really thick and sticky and hard to get off the spoon. I had to add milk and mix it to get it to the point where it was edible. Room was great. The location of my room was convenient and I was able to come and go quickly and easily. Room was comfortable and aside from there being no microwave it had everything I needed. Very quiet, I appreciated that. The little couch was great and the small table that rolls up to the couch was very useful. I never had trouble finding a convenient parking spot.

My shower door kept sliding open on its own. LOL I had to try to wedge something in the track to get it to stay closed.

The room was pretty clean

The desk needed a desk lamp. The desk chair was inadequate. There was no soap in the shower, just shampoo and conditioner. The elevator is a long walk from the front desk...unless you parked in the back. Then you had to use 2 sets of stairs to reach it. An annoyance with most hotels...if you're giving us enough coffee to make four cups, then there should be enough creamer and sugar for four cups

Parking was good. Felt safe

The  only thing that was not good was that our air conditioner didn’t work well it got very hot during the day, and I had to keep the fan on and the temperature at 60 in order to keep comfortable. Then when I was taking a shower I looked up and there was a dirty rag hanging on the shower curtain.

Spacious room with 2 queen beds, clean. We only stayed overnight so we didn’t get a chance to check out the facility and amenities much. Greeted with 2 bottles of water at check-in, we picked our own room, checked in prior to arrival. Dispensers for shampoo conditioner and body wash

The Staff. Keke and Court at the Hampton Inn in Pawtucket, RI. Rock! They make you feel like good friends. They were so helpful with suggestions and other information.

We chose this hotel for the ease of use (we've stayed at other Hampton Inn locations). The wifi was spotty at best making checking email for work and personal use frustrating. There wasn't much offered as kosher foods for breakfast.

Overall services was descent but poor communication with receptionists. I extended my stay because we were closing our house and moving into a new one. One of the receptionist was able to adjust my stay but never communicated with others or updated our stay. I went back second time to extend my stay again but was told I have to book it with those I my previous booked with, which was on line. I was confuse and uncomfortable with.

The house keepers does not check in frequently to tidy up the room. But they were very nice and polite

Breakfast was very excellent! Fresh fruit, hot potatoes & ham! Everything to get started good into the day! :-) Enough parking lots free of charge was very good!

What a pity windows cannot be opened a little bit, no fresh air. To take a shower, too much water is waisted to mix the right temperature :-(

The room was huge! The upgrades where nice and having a microwave/fridge was a great plus! The lighting in the bathroom was perfect for makeup application too. The bed was super comfy and was extremely surprised by the sound proofing as well. The hotel was fully booked but I never heard anyone unless they were right outside my door. It was great, especially since I'm a loud talker and so are my 2 friends. We were worried about a noise complaint because we forget to control our volume but we were all set!

The elevators were really small. Especially for when you're using the dolly to bring up your luggage. There was a pretty bad stain on the floor in front of my bed and the shower was leaking pretty bad too. I wish breakfast went till 11am.
