The staff was great and loved the text meassge system. Loved the coffee bar down stairs.
The room did not have enough storage for our things. No closet , or mini fridge, limited hooks for cloths and towels, couldn't find space to put our things in the bathroom so we had to put them on the floor, and the elevator was really hard to deal with.

Hip, clean, boutique hotel created from a formal brothel. Antique elevator, red lighting in the hallways, vintage room decor, large bathrooms, friendly staff, two memorable interior bars, and easy walking distance to everything in downtown Providence were all positives. Also the room was quiet and (when we wanted it to be) dark.
The bathroom needed a side table to place toiletries. Also we liked the black tiles and the rain forest shower head but we would have preferred a glass door rather than a curtain. A small fitness room and breakfast included might have been helpful too. These are all minor quibbles, however.

It’s a lovely hotel. Modern but with a retro vibe going on. I’ve stayed here three times now. The staff, with the odd exception, are wonderful.
The hot water in the shower was temperamental. On two of the four mornings it was lukewarm at best. I raised the issue at reception, but as the hotel was booked up for New Year’s they couldn’t move me to another room, which was very frustrating, given the money I spent. They have a cocktail bar and a karaoke bar, which aren’t really my thing, but that’s a personal thing as opposed to a criticism.

Super unique and interesting hotel with lots of fun accents; an overall clean and minimalistic style! They're eco-conscious and the staff is friendly and very helpful. The shower and the bathroom in particular was gorgeous. The bed and sheets were incredibly comfortable! I found the elevator fun, though I can see how it could be difficult with more luggage, kids, etc.
I felt like there could have been a few more amenities, like a hair dryer, a small space of storage, a mini fridge, or other small touches some hotels offer. However, it's easy to make do without these things, and it is clear that this is a more minimalistic but luxurious place to stay. It can be a little noisy with the bar just down the road, but this isn't the properties fault.

Funky, coolest hotel I've ever stayed at. Can't imagine going anywhere else next time I visit Providence. The ambience. The incense when you walk into the lobby that carries over into the body wash and shampoo, the vintage, industrial decor, the low lighting throughout, the unique elevator lift like in old movies, the long hallways with vintage carpet down a hardwood floor, the cozy room, the details, the personal note card written out to me on a side table, the no extra charge late checkout request being given. I didn't check out the karaoke bar, but it sounded lively. Love this place. Totally going back.
No mini frig or microwave was the only inconvenience. I never asked if they had an ice machine.

The place was very cute! We loved the 2 bars on the facility and the coffee shop being on site was amazing and the little note was a great personal touch! The hotel is right in the middle of everything and being from NY, everything you need is in walking distance.
Just an fyi, the parking is not a "part" of the hotel. It is right next to it but not a free amenity for the hotel. There is a municipal parking lot next door that might be cheaper. We wouldn't know, it was late and we just paid the $30 to stay in their parking lot. The hotel itself though is very cute and amazing.

Hotel location was great. Everything I wanted...good restaurants, theater, sights and shopping were all within a few minutes walk.
The property is geared toward a younger clientele. The lift, although very timely, was a bit difficult to manage...awkward door and gate closing. In the room itself, the platform bed, although very comfortable and good linens, was very low to the floor and proved to be difficult to get out of. The cool leather lounge chair was also very low to the floor.

fantastic location right around the corner from the arena. the staff were absolutely lovely. I loved the style of the lobby area and the room. the elevator, although small, was really cool and added to the older charm. bed was very comfortable and room was very stylish. loved the use of unique furnishing and artwork. the personalized welcome note on the nightstand was a really nice touch. i also met with some friends at the karaoke bar downstairs and it was a great time!
my room was next to the ice machine which was VERY loud, but that was just an unlucky placement. but my one main issue was that the lighting in the bathroom was very dim. i needed to do some makeup for the event I was in town for and it wasn’t possible with the available bathroom lighting. i had to open my window shades and kneel on the bed to use the big mirror above the bed to see what I was doing. although if you aren’t doing intricate makeup, that probably won’t be an issue for you.

Industrial trendy design downtown. Updated black bathroom.
Single bed room was tiny, about 2 feet around the bed that's it. Slight smell of smoke. This hotel would be difficult for anyone with mobility or strength concerns. Lumpy bed was very low. Hallways are incredibly dark, for mood but seriously as dark as only a red emergency light. Old elevator with manual accordion gate you need to wrestle with as you also try to get your baggage in the space barely big enough for one person.

Staff James and Grace are fantastic and I always tip very kind house keepers. Girlfriend says only hotel in Rhode island with decent coffee (bolt coffee 💯) Beds are so comfortable, decor Ash NY and location perfecto!!
Parking is a disaster and if you pull in from night on town past midnight RI Parking and The Dean won't honor free parking. Manager of RI Parking hates people and his job and said I had to pay $32 today. I wish someone would make it easy for guests before we choose another hotel..
