We liked that there was a bar and some food on premises. Loved the bathroom, comfortable beds, decor, closeness to center of Charleston w nice view of the drive.

Would of liked a menu in the room. Book with restaurant recommendations/ deliveries , channels, etc and map of surroundings. Water bottles and more coffee pods would of been nice in the room.

Location and proximity to Folly Beach and downtown was perfect. Easy to get from hotel to all areas of interest. The hotel was clean, facilities were great and even though it was a million degrees outside, the outdoor fireplace table was nice ambiance. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and very helpful. We definitely would stay there again. Really enjoyed the stay.

Someone parked in front in the loading area next to the shuttle and blocked the check in driveway so we had to park in back and go all the way around with luggage to the front. They stayed there for a long time. Blocked traffic trying to check in right at the entrance to the hotel. People were lining up to the street in front of the hotel. Staff couldn't find the owner of the Silver SUV. Also, we could not see the river from our room so don't expect a river view or river front.

Nice staff. A bit overpriced for the few amenities. Breakfast was underwhelming. Very noisy with a busy highway right outside our room.

We didn't have breakfast but great location to Charleston. We actually preferred this location rather than staying in the city. Having the pool was great and housekeeping staff kept the place neat and tidy. Michael was the best part - we will never forget taking the [free] shuttle with him into the city.

There wasn't much we didn't like. Hotel had everything you could ever want. I would mark the customer service from the desk staff as the only area where there is room for improvement.

The bldg was very nice. Easy access and good parking. Bed was comfy and the TV fine. Decor was modern and staff was friendly.

The room had a wad of gum on the windowsill and a jellybean on the floor that housekeeping missed every day. The breakfast buffet was cold and they kept running out of things to eat. The shuttle driver drove like a maniac in traffic. The most annoying situation occurred when the housekeeper left our room door ajar all day while we were out. Staff was sweet but incompetent.

Very clean, comfortable and great location

Front desk was really slow. To check in the lady in front desk was too slow, she talked to everybody, make sure she got her drink, dance and all that, even that she saw it was a big line waiting to check in. She was not clear with information, she just told me I had a few of $20 dollars, not explained what it was for. But when I check out it was another lady big difference, she explained me what those $20 extra were for, and she was fast too.

Hotel was clean and stylish without being tacky. Nice fire pit area. Love the Bluetooth mirror.

Front desk staff were friendly, and overall the hotel was pretty good. The only fault was the "restaurant." Wings at the bar were fatty and slimy. Drenched in hot sauce. Bar tender ignored one side of bar while hanging out near kitchen entrance. Cost of breakfast buffet was $14/person which was ridiculous for the minimal options (bacon and gome fries also need to be cooked longer)

Clean rooms good location

Breakfast was buffet style, and the offerings and quality were horrible on the one day I had it. there was a small sign that said the cost was $13, which I paid at the front desk. However, other hotel guests just came up and ate and never paid. The offerings were more what you find at a free breakfast provided by the hotel. There is also a bar which gets quite loud at night

Well, the stay was an adventure. Our first night of 3, we got in late and the hotel was sold out, so we got the room right next to the lobby. It was very loud and very damp in the room, so it was not a great experience. The A/C was blowing cold air, yet not taking any moisture out of the air and in Charleston, that is not comfortable at all. The staff, however, was very nice and accommodating the next day and moved us to a higher floor and the A/C and noise situation was much much better. This is not the first time we've had moisture problems in a hotel in Charleston, so they are definitely not alone with the A/C problem. It's a tough climate for a hotel. Breakfast was pretty good and the pool area is very nice and has several fire pit tables to sit. While great and very nice, it did create some noise issues on our last night (see below). The workout room is also nicely equipped if you're so inclined. Overall, the hotel is very nice, pretty new, and a great value for the area for the quality of the rooms and grounds. Would definitely stay again.

A/C in the first room didn't work very well and noise from lobby door opening and closing all night was terrible. Stay away from the first floor if you can. Also, the fire pit tables will get quite a gathering at night in nice weather, which gets very loud and distracting if you are staying on that side of the building. If you are sensitive to noise, ask for a room on the outer side of the hotel.

The breakfast was good, location is close to the places we were visiting. The pool and seating was nice outside and the seating inside was cozy. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. All staff was friendly and gave us plenty of towels and supplies when we needed them.

The room was very humid and we had to turn the air low.
