Our room was fairly large, and very comfortable. The breakfast was nice every morning, and was attended to by staff constantly. Made it more fresh and hot for just a continental breakfast. The biscuits were great! Every staff member, even just those we passed when walking was friendly and welcoming. Super close to downtown, the battery, and other major spots.

The only major downside was the parking. If the lot was full (only a few spaces on side of hotel) you had to park in the garage next door on the third floor. Realistically it's less than additional five mins, and it's still included with hotel (they validate the parking each time) but with all your luggage, or after a long day of walking it sucks just a tiny bit. I could see how anyone with strollers and such would hate that (handicap spots near hotel entrance). For us forgetful people we had to keep walking out there for charges and such lol. That being said the garage is apart of a publix food store and a condominium. Very secure and safe.

Breakfast buffet was nice. Staff were friendly, very clean. Dog friendly. Safe area. Grocery store right across the street.

The staff were very friendly but unaware of things going on (i.e. if it wasn't occurring behind their desk, they didn't seem to care-alarms beeping at the door area, the desk person said oh, I can't hear it back here. The lights being turned on in the entranceway-the desk person said, oh, yeah- thanks for letting me know. Umm.. it's your job, I shouldn't have to tell you. We did stay after a storm, however they did not let us know beforehand that the pool would be closed for our entire stay.

It was clean, the staff was friendly, the free breakfast was good, and overall value for this stay was in alignment for the location and amenities.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. if there was one thing that some might not like, it would be parking. The on-site parking right outside the hotel was limited. We had to park in a garage across the street. Parking in the garage was validated each day by the hotel and parking for all was only $10 a day, which isn’t too bad. There was plenty of parking on the hotel floor, and it really wasn’t an inconvenience. Id say for my family, we unloaded our luggage at the hotel lobby first, then it was just the back and forth as we came and went. I quickly realized the benefit of parking in the garage was that it was shaded. It was middle of July and very hot and humid. It was nice being able to get in to a cool vehicle and not have to run the air for a few minutes beforehand.

This hotel has a very recent renovation, so most things are brand new. Bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Lobby and the rooms are beautiful. Breakfast was yummy with many choices. Staff was helpful and efficient. This hotel is dog friendly, but they charge $50. a day for the dog, which is pretty steep.

Our Wifi connection was poor. We were on the 7th floor and as far from the lobby as possible. It took three tries to get on and then we were dropped often. We travel with an extender and that solved the problem. Most people don't travel with an extender. Little things, like the toilet ran unless you jiggled it. The fridge did not get vey cold unless you left the cabinet door open. Parking is in the building next door. It's a little complicated and no one had a really good handle on how it worked.. I just wish they would write it up and give you a map. We got contradictory information. Location is pretty far from the touristy part of Charleston. So we had to take our car out to really see the city. There's really nothing in walking distance except a McDonald's.

The front receptionist was very nice and sweet - The hotel was located in a great area - We had a terrific room to stay in - Everything about the hotel was awesome - I would definitely stay here again

There is nothing much that could have been done better - The parking was different but understandable - You could probably improve parking by creating a bigger parking lot on the hotel property - but it was ok to park in the deck because parking was covered by the hotel so there was no out of pocket expense - other than that everything was exceptional

I liked that it was clean and quiet. The room was spacious. Breakfast was decent! Staff were very sweet!!

I had booked a room with 2 queen beds and was given 1 queen bed and a sofabed. The bathroom had no vent to it was very moist after showers, a vent needs to be added to keep the bathroom dryer and longer. I would like some compensation because they said no 2 queen beds were available. This was a Birthday gift for my neice so I let her sleep in the bed and took the sofabed and I am 68 years old!!

The hotel was very nice. Our room was on the fourth floor, nice size and comfortable. The two elevators worked well and had no issues. The property was about a 1.75 mile walk to the historical area (which was no problem for us getting or returning). Always felt safe. There was a nice walk along one riverfront to the historical area. We usually cut through the neighborhoods by the colleges. There is a Publix grocery store across the street. Great complimentary breakfast in the morning.

The staff was amazing at this location! The ladies at the desk and in the breakfast area were always so friendly and helpful! Parking is a bit cramped but the ramp across the street is super easy to access and you just validate your ticket with the hotel and you are good to go! Location was good but we did have a rental car...I feel walking would be too far for the French Quarter but there is a shuttle you can utilize.

the staff were warm and welcoming and took the time to remember my name, clean, quiet, comfortable bed, walking distance to central Charelston (if you like walking as it’s a little way but it gets the steps in for the day and it’s only a $10ish in an Uber to King st), supermarket next door - overall great experience

Good location, clean room. Walking distance to some good restaurant options and grocery store.

Breakfast was average. The person working the breakfast shift was unfriendly and had to be asked to replenish empty serving dishes and yogurts. She showed no interest in what she was doing.
