The location was perfect. There was a bus stop a block from the property, so getting to City Center was quick and easy. The bathroom was spacious, and the bed was comfy. The welcoming gift of water, wine, and chocolate was very hospitable. They provided just about everything you needed to make the place feel like home. The staff were also very responsive.

The bedroom was more of an "enclave" within the apartment, so there were no windows in the "bedroom ". With the curtains closed, it got a little stuffy in the room. We also rented a unit with a kitchen so that we could prepare meals, but we were a little surprised that there were no steak knives. The unit was beautiful, but we traveled with our two year old, so the sharp corners of the rectangular table gave us nightmares daily. And it was a fight getting him not to play with the exposed washing machine. None of this is the fault of the property. Again, it looked great, and having in-unit laundry is very helpful. But I think the property is best suited for adults or people with older children.

LOVED how cozy the decor was and how perfect it was for the two of us. Just enough room and stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend trip. We also LOVED how secure it was. It has numerous cameras and locked gates.

Parking was an issue. My vehicle was slightly too large for the carousel. We had to park in a public parking garage which was not very close. We got lots of walking in.

We loved this little gem! The rooms are really comfy and new. Felt like a home away from home. There are plenty of amenities that make your stay comfortable like bottled water and espresso and they have plenty of cooking equipment in the rooms if you like to cook yourself. The bathroom was also really modern and very clean. It's far enough away from the Main Street (King Street) to get away from the noise but close enough to not be a far to walk to get there. And if you don't want to walk, there's always the bike taxis!

I don't think it was the hotels fault, but we were in room 305 and there was a really loud low rumble that would go on for about ten mins, stop and then start up again like an hour later. Not sure if it was the parking carousel or construction nearby. They do have white noise machines in the rooms but they didn't help much. Be aware that parking is $25 a day and the nearest public parking garage is .3 miles away and costs $18 per day. If our car could fit on the carousel, we definitely would have paid the $25 for it.

I loved the decor and style! It had all the necessities for a trip. The little kitchen was perfectly stocked and had a great size fridge. It had super fantastic coffee and espresso machine. the robes were definitely a nice touch to have. I was greeted with a wine, chocolate, and a welcome note. It was very sweet and made my stay the extra little special. They had two flat screen tvs. The shower was probably the hit of the place with the double shower head!

An interesting property in a good location at a very decent price for high season. The room/suite was clean, modern, and well appointed, the bed was comfortable and everything worked. The staff was friendly and helpful when we needed help.

While there were instructions for most of the "mechanicals" these were lacking for the dishwasher and the coffee maker. The stocking of coffee was a bit skimpy, necessitating a request for more. And a box of tissues would not go amiss. The biggest issue for us, though, was the limited staffing hours, meaning that we had to drag our luggage around both before and after our stay.

The Iris is the cleanest hotel room I have ever been in I am pretty sure in my life and I have been to a lot of places they do an amazing job. I liked that it had everything you would need even though we didn't need a full kitchen. The room was light and bright and well-furnished and super comfortable. The bedroom was so cozy with the noise canceling machine on the wall and the cute curtains that made it even cozier. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed the only thing lacking was a box of tissues I always like to have them around. It also felt very safe because of the gate and the code you didn't have to worry about a key or a credit card type key. I realized also that it was very close to King street we didn't really know that for a while because we kept meeting our friends on Meeting street and that was farther away and king was so close to us.

The lack of tissues LOL , and not having a lobby is sort of not that good but its fine we went to our friends hotel rooftop and had cocktails

This spot was well beyond expectations! Incredible value for a cheap cost. The space is gorgeous, modern, and has everything you need which is way more than a standard hotel room provides. I loved the spacious bathroom, large closets with iron and robes, full kitchen, dining space, two TV's, a living room with a pull out bed, washer/ dryer, and lovely outdoor patio. The complimentary wine, chocolate, and water upon arrival as well as the binder of local recommendations was a wonderful touch. I loved that it's walkable location to the King Street bar/ restaurant strip. Downtown to Market Street is about a 20-30 minute walk or quick $10 Uber/ Lyft. The staff was very responsive, and I felt very safe on the property and in the area. I am definitely booking this property my next stay!

I did not mind this, but the property does not have a front desk. The guests check-in and enter the gates/ room through the texted passcode. The gates were convenient and secure, and the staff was immediately responsive of any questions or requests when I texted or called.

The room was very very nice and the extra facilities made it feel like a second home. The bathroom and kitchen were very nice. It was a decent view. Great location, very close, within walking distance, to King Street and if you feel like it, also within walking distance of market Street and the French quarter! We were able to explore easily and the code based locks on the doors made us carefree and not have to worry about losing a key or having it demagnetize. The staff was very friendly and quick to answer any questions we had.

The parking is a bit awkward to use and takes a long time to retrieve your vehicle. The two tvs were positioned in a way that the remote in the living room was interacting with the TV in the bedroom area. The location was quite hard to find due to lack of signage outside. We drove past it twice before realizing.

The check-in was straightforward the staff were really helpful. The apartment was very clean and tidy and in a good location, near bars, and the sights. The kitchen was well-equipped, and it was nice to receive a welcome bottle of wine. There was good wifi access, and the smart TV was also welcomed. The beds including the sofa bed were comfortable. And there was a good size bathroom. And even though the apartment was on the modest side it was plenty big enough for 3 people.

We had the impression that we would have our own outside space with furniture, this is only the case with the upper floors, not the ground floor. We were told that we were welcome to use these, as they were not private, but felt awkward as the furniture was outside people's apartments. A kettle would also be a welcome addition together with some smaller cups for the coffee machines.
