disappointed with the staff, Bradlee was there when we checked in at 4 and our room was not ready. At 4:30 he decided to switch us to a different room. Then I was surprised that he didn’t know much about the area when I asked if he could recommend tours or restaurants. None? He was there when we checked out. we had been emailed that our flight was delayed and then cancelled. I asked about staying an additional night but was told it would be 400$ a night for each couple. we had also just purchased 2 of the specials to travel to Hilton Head within the next 13 months. I am a new honors member and usually stay at Marriott locations and I have to say I wasn’t impressed with the service.

Great location. The hotel is located <1 block from King Street and it was very easy to walk everywhere in the historic district of Charleston. Rooms also had lots of space.

The room was spacious and very clean. Attentive and friendly staff. We asked for some items for the kitchen, such as dishwshing soap and a cutting board, and the staff immediately took care of that. Comfortable work desk that allowed me to seamlessly continue my remote work. Breakfasts are hearty and there's a variety to choose from. Great location on King Street!
Hard to find things to complain about. There is no safe in the room, but it wasn't a big deal. The kitchenette is decently equipped but a little bit more utensils and basic items would go a long way in terms of usability.

Large rooms, very clean, beautifully decorated. Hot breakfast was excellent compared to other free breakfasts included with rooms at similar hotels.
Fee for parking very high and requires valet. However, the lot across the street from the entry door is only $10 a day and can come and go as you wish. There is a sign when you pull in with instructions to pay. Very convenient and totally worth it!

Clean and comfortable. Parking on site was $32 a day but right next door was a lot for $12 a day which was very convenient. The complimentary breakfast hit the spot. Tons of food choices within walking distance and even more within a short delivery range. Appliances were very handy to have in the room as we always had tons of leftovers. TV was a nice Samsung smart TV but didnt have the original remote so we couldn't watch any streaming services. Only knock was the night time staff person who must have been having a bad day.

No turn doesn’t or housekeeping service or evening social hour. Nothing special done for our 25th wedding anniversary. No comped wine or dessert or even a card to acknowledge this momentous occasion

We were within walking distance of most places we wanted to go. Our flight was delayed, so we were late getting here but they were in contact with us and let us know our room would still be available. Anytime we needed something they responded quickly. Appreciated the 24 hour desk clerk and valet service is also 24 hr. Due to covid, they don’t clean the rooms daily, but will if you request it. Bed was comfy and shower water was hot. Would stay here again.

The hot breakfast each morning was a surprise. They changed the choices each day. The coffee was plentiful with a variety of condiments for it. The service was excellent and friendly.
Glad there was $10 per day self parking across the street and not have to pay $30 a day for valet parking.

Megan at the front desk was FABULOUS! From the moment we checked in (with our bright yellow suitcases lol) , she helped us several times! She is just a sweet, knowledgeable and professional young lady! We will be back because of her customer service! Breakfast was great! The bartender was extremely nice and quick! Pool area was very nice!
We loved everything about it! Couldn’t complain about anything!
