We visited during the Black Hills Rally so the hotel was super busy but very accommodating especially with parking! They had a large area roped off for the bikes but tried to accommodate all of the trailers as well. The rooms were nice and comfortable and all of the staff was super nice. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel every morning. They offered a buffet but we ordered off the menu and it came super quick. Ate in the bar one night but this hotel is conveniently located so you can walk to about any restaurant you want downtown. They had mexican, italian and more. I think we tried them all. I hope we can eat at the restaurant in the hotel next time. It was only open on the weekend due to staffing issues.

I honestly can't think of anything that needed improvement. Front desk was nice and helpful. We were able to get a mini fridge delivered to our room which was super helpful to have cold drinks in the room.

Location is fantastic. Front desk was very helpful. Downtown was great - plenty of restaurants after a day of riding and sightseeing. Would stay here again.

When we checked in- we asked if a refrigerator was in the room. They said one was available but $10 per day. Huh? Pay $10 per day for a fridge? When we got to the room ( 10 minutes later- we saw one was already in the room). When I asked about this - they said they called to have one in our room when we checked in. Huh? Within 10 minutes, someone stopped what thy were doing and found a fridge and plugged it in within 10 minutes of me entering the lobby? Sounded a bit strange to me, but we needed the fridge. We were riding two motorcycles and had water vests ( keep us cool in the summer) while riding - and wanted them to be cold when ready to ride each day.

The hotel picked us up from the airport which was really handy. They also stored our luggage the next day while we had some time to kill in RC. The room was comfortable and big with two double beds and good value for money.

The lighting in the room was weird, like there was no main overhead light so it was a bit dark. Also we found the bath/shower a bit hard to use. There was a bath but no plug so we couldn't use it. We didn't mention it to the staff as we were only staying one night so wasn't a big deal.

The hotel was great and located near plenty of good food choices. The hotel was clean and in a good area. Rooms were nice and beds comfortable. Easy access for our trips

The only thing that I didn't like was the noise outside with the trains. This is not a knock on the hotel, but more so the State. The trains that run in the area have to let their horns off each time they come to a crossing. Why because the State doesn't put in the proper equipment like gates that block the street. If you have ever seen the movie My Cousin Vinny you will know what I mean.

Location! All of historic Downtown was in walking distance. Also loved the decor and the size of the rooms. Food at the Lounge and Enigma was excellent. Great entertainment in the Bar on Friday and Saturday. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Shuttle to and from airport on time and professional.

Only problem was with the room next to us but Hotel assisted.

The location is fine. Everywhere is close. Great view from 8th floor over entire Rapid City. The hotel staff picked me for free from hotel when there was no shuttle available at the airport. Helpful staff, I got some leaflets for excursions around the area, which heped me to organize some travels.

Breakfast paid additionally. I had problem with European/American electricity adapter but the hotel staff didn't have one.

Staff was helpful, rooms were clean and they cleaned them during our stay, which you don't find much anymore. We paid for breakfast one morning and it was delicious with a friendly staff!

On the booking site there is a photo of the dance hall and it looks like a pool. So we had thought that the place had a pool and the kids were disappointed. The photo should be labeled or taken down.

I liked almost everything! The room was really clean and comfortable with temperature controls, great natural lighting and a spectacular view even from the 5th floor. The restaurant on the first floor served very good food, though it was a bit pricey. The staff were friendly and all the hotel amenities were in good working order, i.e. ice and vending machines. The facility is ideally placed near the main highway and a short distance from other establishments like bars, restaurants and attractions.

Every day that I came back from sightseeing, I found that my keycards needed reprogrammed. I'd get all the way to my room just to find that they didn't work. And I received no housekeeping services the whole time. The bed was never remade nor did I get any fresh washcloths or towels. Very minor issues, however. But mentionable.

The location was perfect for walking downtown, closeness to the Roosevelt park and pool, restaurants, main thoroughfares.

There were only two elevators and only one was working. This was only a problem in the morning as guests were all coming down in the morning for breakfast or to checkout. I was afraid the street noise would be a problem but it was not.

Great accessible location with plenty of free parking. Friendly staff and good breakfast. comfortable bed. Visited during Sturgis bike week so quite pricey. Very easy and comfortable for a visit to Mt Rushmore and other local attractions. Restaurant now closed in the evening but food available at the bar. Otherwise the friendly Murphys bar with good food is just across the road.

No pool, no mini bar, no safe in room. Blinds didn’t quite block out early morning light - but did keep room relatively cool in 98f heat.
