Chattanooga Choo Choo

We liked everything about the hotel. Very clean, soft comfortable bed, accommodating staff that answered every possible question that we had during our stay. We will be back but next trip we will stay in one of the train cars. Also, several places to eat in same location. We ate at Nic and Norman’s and it was delicious. Only issue we had was first night parking. We had to park in a parking lot adjacent to our hotel because they were having a concert at a nearby venue but they did not charge us for parking that night. Like I said, staff was very accommodating. Great location to everything like aquarium, Ruby falls, Rock City. We will definitely be back!!!!!

The room was very nice. We loved that there was restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed seeing all the progress going on. Many train carts being worked on to turn into rooms. Our little guy thoroughly enjoyed the train carts that we could climb inside.

Only issue was the pillows were wayyyyy too big. Everything was great! We had a blast and will definitely be back… with our own pillows ;) I’d rather pay $15 more a day on the room than be surprised with $15 a day for parking. It’s like Free shipping. $15 out the door just feels better than $10+$5 shipping. Plus you could advertise as the only hotel that doesn’t charge its customers to park. Win win!

The room was very nice. It is really designed nicely, and we loved the decor and the quality of how it was constructed.

It was out of everyone's control, but when we checked in the internet and wi-fi were down. That was an inconvenience. Also, there was no micro wave anywhere on the property, and we always take popcorn with us when we travel. There were no ice machines. we had to go to the desk and ask for the clerk to get some for us. I understand those things will be changing soon. We would definitely stay there again if we travel to Chattanooga again.

I felt as if I was back in time! It was restored beautifully to every detail! The lobby is amazing and cozy! My husband and I found a gem we plan on visiting often. It’s a great mid stopping point on our regular travels from Chicago to Florida. Every staff member we came into contact with was so welcoming and pleasant to talk to.

If there could be an ice maker nearby so we didn’t have to ask staff for ice. But that’s small discomfort in the grand picture.

The room was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located next to the free shuttle throughout the city. There were some excellent dining options within a blocks walk. Easy access to major roadways. The staff, all of the staff, were excellent and easy to talk with.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and there were some internet issues. However, this will be a return destination location when the renovations are complete.

Beautiful decor. The mattress and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on! Great location within walking distance to many restaurants and venues. Easy check in/out. Easy self parking.

Balconies are actually a ledge with bars. You can not walk out on balcony. Basically, a sliding glass door with bars. Staff did not describe on site restaurant, coffee bar, amenities upon check in.

Hotel is near local restaurants in a revitalized area of Chattanooga. The hotel is a warm, comfortable and clean, unique option to stay downtown. The rooms have all been updated, staff was friendly and helpful, and we felt safe.

There is a $20 parking fee we were not aware of. There was noise in the hallway at 3 am from a rowdy group but that comes with hotels sometimes.

Very close to our plans for the evening. Very clean. Employees were very nice and helped out with issue we had.

We had to go to the front desk because there were dogs in the room next door barking non stop. A lot of remodeling going on and had to walk around a lot of it and take long way to other places on property.

The beds and linens were very plush and comfortable. The shower was wonderful. The room in the train car was very unique and well appointed. The staff were very kind, informative of local sites and eating establishments, and helpful.

I was under the impression you could still stay in the actual train cars like use too. It has definitely changed a lot since I was a little girl🥲
