Great location a few blocks from Beale Street and the property is stunning with its high ceilings and bright walls. The mirror in the bathroom that defrosts itself was a great perk.

It is a bit noisy, but the apartment we were in had a noise machine next to the bed to meliorate that. The listing doesn’t mention parking. We were there on a weekday evening, so on street parking was available and free, but on weekends I am sure that’s more of a challenge. There is a lot across the road for paid parking.

Location was fine and it was very easy to Uber to everywhere we wanted to go.

Not having a reception or office on the property. It was just lucky I called the day before we arrived or we would not have known what to do and we were not told this beforehand. We were told not to park on the street but the parking lot recommended across from The Rambler was expensive, not protected and just as open to the street as on the street parking. We parked on the street and everything was fine.

The Rambler is fabulous. Great space, beautifully fitted out. Pool area great. Free washers and dryers in the basement. Great location, Civil Rights Museum and Lorraine Motel around the corner, Blues Hall of Fame across the road, a good grocery store an 8 minute walk, Beale street the same. Peabody a little longer, but still walkable. Parking was absolutely fine on the free street parking and there always seemed to be spaces available. I had an issue with the wifi connection with my UK phone (not with my US) and Mario from the rental organization went far beyond the call of duty to help me hotspot one to the other, successfully! Thank you Mario!

I know others have raised this, but there was no blind in the living area and there is a building opposite that is occupied with windows at the same level as ours, so I really think a blind is necessary. In the bedroom there is a blind, but it does not block out the light so we were woken every morning at dawn - some sort of light blocking blind is also necessary. On the Sunday night we encountered a group of boys fooling around, loudly!. We met 5 or 6 leaving the building as we entered and another 4 in the elevator with us, then in the pool area later, looked like a big party. There didnt seem to be any adults with them, but they did leave the pool area around 10pm. Noise started again in the early hours of the morning.

Where do I Begin !!! This might in fact be the best place I have ever stayed for the price. Huge , I mean massive studio apartment. Triple height ceilings, exposed white washed brick with a loft feeling. Stunning modern bathroom with large shower. Enough storage space that it could have been a 2 bedroom. Great Tv and amenities. Full kitchen and very very easy check in / check out. Spotless - felt like I was the first person to stay there.

If I had to look for something. And I mean I am looking for issues here, black out blinds would be nice. The rooms do the common practice of having internal doors that connect to other rooms. Allowing family’s and friends connect their rooms. Which could be a good thing. It’s just they aren’t very sound Proof and you can hear your neighbours enjoy themselves 😅😅🤭.

We loved the vibe. It was very clean. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. The check in was super easy. All three beds in our suite were extremely comfortable. We did have issues with the heat not staying on and coming up to the temp set. Maybe the thermostat needs batteries. We woke up and it was very chilly 60° and took quite a long time to warm up to 68° before we had to be checked out. We made our reservations for 5 guests. There were only 5 single coffee pods for the kuireg and only 4 tiny individual creamers. It would have been alot nicer to have had more than 1 cup of coffee in the morning before we had to leave. Over all it was a very pleasant stay and experience and would book the Rambler again if we are coming to the area.

The heat would not warm up to set temperature or stay on. There wasn't enough coffee pods or condiments for the coffee.

The property itself was a very cool updated old building. Loved the room. Awesome to walk across the street to Civil Rights museum which was the highlight of the trip.

Elevator was sketchy and my kids were a little afraid of it because of the loud noises it made. Also there was no designated parking and it wasn’t a great part of town so it didn’t feel like the safest place to be parking and walking at night. I probably wouldn’t return here with kids.

Loved the suite setup so each couple had their own room and bathroom. Very simple and clean. Location nice! Staff was more than accommodating. Very kind.

The pool and jacuzzi are very outdated and need maintenance and updating. The jacuzzi jets are on the floor so no back massage. Also it’s very dark so you can’t see if it’s clean. The other issue is since its location is between 2 buildings, there’s only maybe 2 full hours of sun. 11-1 or so which made it tough to catch those times of day. It was nice to have all the same. Just sharing thoughts.

Apartment was very clean, the chat with the company at check in was easy and they responded promptly. Beds were comfortable, TVs in both bedrooms as well as in the living room, all had Roku so we could sign into our account to watch stuff. White noise machines in the bedrooms were a nice touch. Coffee and tea included. Really cool Elvis mural at the pool. In walking distance to all the big downtown attractions. Free street parking.

Couldn’t find any dish towels, so we just used the paper towels to dry dishes (not a big deal) Pool is painted a dark color which makes it look kind of dark and creepy. Not the property’s fault per se, but there was a very loud group of guests yelling in the hallway and playing music at night club volume in the pool area one night. We also heard a series of gunshots from what we think is the same group. No sirens or anything so we think they were shooting their gun into the air? The apartment was fairly soundproof so wasn’t a huge issue but still obnoxious and unnerving. No front desk or anyone on site at the property so no one around to monitor unruly parties.

We loved the location, easy parking even! right across the street from National civil rights museum!! the room itself was stunning, high ceilings and a very clean modern feel. heated pool and hot tub were easily the best feature of the whole place! highly recommend

the only thing we were missing from our room was the coffee and we both were looking forward to trying the unique coffee system set up..

The place was huge. They had everything in the studio. Comfortable bed and couch. Shower was great, had shampoo conditioner and gel in bathroom . Tv in bedroom as well as lounge room. Walking distance to all the restaurants, bars and shops.

Everything was done by computer. It would have been nice to have someone there when booking in. I asked for earlier check in. I didn’t see the message on phone because of travelling there. It was a little frustrating doing it over the phone/computer. So that’s the only thing I didn’t like about the rambler.
