A modern, upscale, vibrant hotel, with some fun restaurants and bars, a great pool, very pleasant rooms and located near all the good places Austin has to offer. A stroll to Rainey Street, to 6th, to Red River st, and to the riverside. Just on the edge of downtown. I rarely give a 10, but this hotel deserves it.

Nothing really. OK, maybe the pool water could have been a little warmer, and the breakfast buffet (which was great) a little more original, as you see in higher end hotels in Europe. But this is really in the category of searching for things to fill into this text box.

the pool was filthy, as in visible dirt and debris floating everywhere. not enough seating options, slow service. extremely over priced drinks ($32 for a frozen pina colada?!) very expensive food/cocktails in other hotel lounges.

Everyone on staff was warm and helpful. My auto rental from Go Rentals c/o thier concierge was fast, easy & reliable. Excellent job. Loved the Iron Works BBQ across the street. It was nice having a Lime scooter right outside. I took a scooter and found little restaurants & interesting retail down nearby E. Cesar Chavez St. Also, the 6th St. nightlife chaos/excitement was not far away if your plans called for it. Fast help from the FedEx business center too. Secret fun day trip: Rent a car and drive 90 minutes west to quaint Fredericksburg; but be sure to stop at MagnoliaPearl.com -- an architectural gem selling extremely innovative women's clothing. I know it was 104 outside (in August) but INSIDE, the reception, halls, bar & gym were a bit too cold.

What I like was the restaurant Garrison, the staff in that restaurant were so friendly and welcoming. I’ll say the staff that was working in the facility were all friendly, but the staff at Garrison gives exceptional world class customer service and the food at Garrison were out of this world. the chef did an amazing job. I’m definitely coming back to this hotel. I had to mention this Servers at Garrison were all friendly and every one of them had a smile on their faces and had a welcoming spirit.

The hotel is amazing but one thing I didn’t like was that why u have to pay for everything even the WI-FI, I meant they are lot of high end hotels across Austin u don’t need to pay for Wi-Fi, couldn’t this be the same?

Room well decorated, quality furniture & fixtures, large size, great view of town. Location. I was attending a conference at the Convention Center. No hotel has such a short walk to it - 72 steps for me door-to-door over the elevated walkway. I was back & forth a lot, so this was key, particularly when heat & humidity high. Also several nice restaurants w/in very short walking distance. Pool. Looked nice. Didn't have time to swim. Great view from the pool area. Walked around it while I waited for a to-go order from the adjacent restaurant. Not crowded.

The doors to the elevated walkway to the Convention Center were very heavy & seemed to have "accelerators" instead of teh normal hydraulic dampers set on them. I'm reasonably agile, but it was difficult to get through the doors without getting whacked by them on your way out. Also, parking ridiculously expensive, although that's not uncommon in Austin.

Beautiful property from the lobby to the pool area. King corner suite was spacious and very clean. We traveled with our 4 month old baby and they provided our rolling crib with a sweet little stuffed animal and baby bath toiletries. Very nice touch.

We attempted to check in early (knowing it wasn’t guaranteed) and they said they would text when it was ready but the hotel lobby has little to no cell service so we never got the text. When we went to check after 2 hours the room was ready. It was a minor inconvenience at the end of the day.

Everything was wonderful! Every member of the staff was extremely polite and helpful. We arrived very late the first day and ordered room service and the food was delicious. They really do a great job with the little details!

Part of the reason we booked this hotel was the pictures of the beautiful pool, but the whole weekend we couldn’t even get near the pool because it’s was completely overcrowded! We asked the pool staff if this was normal or if we had just happened to be here on a busy weekend, and they said unfortunately it’s this busy just about every weekend. I would still highly recommend booking here as it’s a fantastic hotel, but only if you don’t care about getting to go to the pool.

This is a beautiful hotel and property. We were unable to valet because we had a cargo tray attached to our hitch so parking was a little stressful but very secure. Staff was attentive. Room service was pricey but good. We wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the property and area.

They tried to upsell us to the “concierge” (I think that’s what it’s called) level which included complimentary snacks but ended at 10pm and we were checking in after that time and only staying one night. The drinks we got at the bar were quite good but the bartender wasn’t very friendly or attentive. It was late but they were still open.

This is my third time staying at this property and I’ve gotta say it’s a great place to stay at. I usually stay here when I’m in Austin for a convention at the convention center right across from the hotel so the location is convenient for me.

I’d pre paid for a room and when I went to check in, I was told the room that I’d pre paid for wasn’t ready so I was upgraded. When I asked in regards to what would happen with the money that I’d already pre paid, I was never provided an answer.
