We were there when the Tornado came through. Very Impressed with the way the staff handled the situation. Calm cool and collective. Water and snacks too. The only thing that might need to be better is the speaker system .

I know that resorts style hotels make you pay for every little thing but I really do not understand that idea if you are paying $400-$1000 a night parking, internet should be free. It does seem like the room price should more than cover that. The other thing is the parking is stressful if an event is going on, the hotel should have it's own separate parking garage just for overnight guest . It would also be nice if you could get to the garage from your floor . The event parking should be it's own separate area maybe even a shuttle bus to take them and drop them off . Having to wait in a long line just to park and go to your room is kinda unnecessary

The property was lovely.

My husband set me up with some time away to get some rest after recently giving birth to our second baby. However, getting rest was impossible. There was a constant sound of slamming door or doors in the hallway. I believe probably the stairway door. Some of the interesting food options weren’t open and this was disappointing. Also a lack of entertainment or fun activities and shopping on site. And finally one of the restaurant servers was inappropriate, making an obvious pass at me as I sat alone on the patio and then became annoyed when I didn’t reciprocate. Didn’t ruin my day but still inappropriate and unprofessional.

The place is just majestic. Our room came with a balcony that overlooked all the fountains and indoor waterways. The gym was awesome, and the entire staff, from the front desk team to housekeeping, was on an entirely different level of professionalism and friendliness. Also, the hotel is located in Grapevine, minutes from DFW airport and the rental car garage, and with easy access to shopping in Plano and the rodeo in Fort Worth. While most of the on-site stores and restaurants are a bit pricey, the Marketplace, Sundry Store, and Sushi Bar were very affordable.

We met my sister and her family there who flew in from the UK and had a wonderful time. I had a rental car and initially parked in the convention center parking area which was way too far from the actual resort. Fortunately, the front desk team resolved every parking and vehicle access issue I had. We ate a lot of Texas BBQ and brought back plenty of leftovers. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a microwave anywhere to reheat our food. Also, we really enjoyed the sushi bar but there was no green tea or Japanese Beer there. That's weird. The sushi chef was great.

Rooms were great and clean. Access to the Splash park with resort transfer was super convenient. Loved the included amenities for the kids. The employees were very friendly and helpful with any questions. Jeremy at the Splash Park was amazing and did a super job both days we rented a cabana. The Hickory Steakhouse food and service was superb it was a little pricey but for our last nights dinner it was a perfect way to end a wonderful trip.

I wish the pool waters were a little warmer. The Italian Restaurant Zeppole was really bad at dinner time. Took 1 hr and 30 minutes to get dinner and when it came food was awful. Cold, under cooked, over cooked. Took too long to even get waters for the table.

Nice & entertaining swimming facilities, including midnight outdoor pool. High quality food, and some family oriented entertaining events were available.

BEcause many stayers check-out around the same time, it took me >30 min to check-out even half an hour before the check-out time (11 AM). Checking out before 10:30 AM is highly encouraged. The way that the free-parking lot worked was tricky (wait to check-out until getting a car out of the parking garage). These could have been informed to me when I checked-in. The pools were clean in the morning but the quality was not so well maintained towards the evening.

This is a beautiful place. It was nice having the shuttle to paradise springs. The Build a Bear was a hit with the kids. We loved the Escape room and thee Kids Clubhouse for art. There were beautiful shops for the adults too! The nightly light show was great too!

The ice machine did not work on our floor so we had to go to a different floor for ice.

Clean room and due to covid guidelines no one entered our room and that felt safer. The housekeeper lady was nice, brought us some extra towels and picked up trash at the door. Also appreciated was food room service, a click and boom food at the door. Special thanks to the Santa photos shop supervisor and manager for ensuring that I got my photos that I had forgotten to pick up at the shooting time. Thank you!!

It would have been nicer if water bottles were delivered to room without asking for it. Another little thing was the elevator at the parking garage, only one side elevator was working and the operating one was slowed due to human traffic. So had to wait a little bit or take stairs if without baggage and kids. But, we made it.

Once we parked, we found we never had to leave the property. Everything we needed for a quick anniversary trip was right there on the property. Our anniversary dinner was handled at Old Hickory Steakhouse which was comparable to steakhouses outside of the facility. The first evening we were there, we had dinner at Zeppelle’s (sp?). We didn’t realize we needed reservations, but it was a little early and the hostess found us a table. the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. My wife was treated to a deep tissue massage at Relache Spa. It was a wonderful trip!

Simply that it’s pricy. Expected from a resort.

The bed was comfortable, we loved the double vanities. Dinner at Zeppole was wonderful.

We had a guest from town come to dinner with us at Zeppole's. They had their parking ticket validated however upon their departure, they still had to pay to get the exit gate to allow them to leave.

The spacious rooms, value for my money. The hotel was decorated with the season /Fall. Kids loved the pumpkin scavenger hunt.

Had to pay for the book to do the pumpkin scavenger hunt, and the price received for finding the pumpkins was not worth what was paid for the book. I think this should be a free activity and perhaps just a page with clues given to kids to hunt for the pumpkin.
