The property was extraordinary! Very well designed and attractive, in great condition, and a wonderful 'theme' and charm. The room was very comfortable, great linens, and very clean. The location was also great - right down Broadway from campus.

The single complaint I have is the outside flooring on the second level. There were many places where wear on the wooden boards was creating rather long slivers that would most certainly be issues if one was walking around barefoot....like if you were coming from the pool.

We stayed here for a night and immediately noticed how nice the lay out of this hotel is. It's one of a kind! We are facing the courtyard and had a nice view. The bed and pillows feels new. The whole room is and smells clean. More importantly, the staff and front desk was friendly and accommodating. They are really paying attention to small details to ensure guests have a fun and relaxing time. The staff exceeded my expectations. Thank you Cotton Court Hotel, we really had a pleasant stay!

great decor

I was alone, as I my husband could not make the trip. I had to park at night, in the back of the property by myself. Then, I had to carry my luggage etc. If my husband would have been there, this would not have been an issue. I had to be at Texas Tech by 8:30 am the following day, and tried to eat breakfast at the restaurant. I went around 7:15, but had to leave because they were so very slow. Therefore, I left without eating breakfast.

it is even more amazing than the photos. I loved the inside-outside feel to the property and all of the rooms face the courtyard filled with things to do and places to lounge. a very Texas theme, but well done. the staff were the highlight. we drove in after 800 miles and a bit stressed to find parking and the staff did everything they could to turn our experience and mood around. I was throughly impressed with their friendliness.

there isn’t a lot of parking spots on the property and you have to park in the surrounding garages, but they help you load and unload at least.

I loved the outdoor activities and atmosphere. The bands were great and drinks. My family and I had a great weekend playing games and listening to music out in the courtyard.

I was really upset that when booking the website did not mention that some rooms like the economy rooms are inside not the outside rooms. The website gives a false impression that all rooms are outside so its easy access to the courtyard. Having kids made it kind of hard having to go in and out rather than the room just being outside. I've stayed at the Austin location and loved it and all rooms were outside so easy access to room and courtyard, and nice sitting outside your room door unlike the inside rooms. This was my only complaint.

We definitely didn't like the look of the stained couch cushion to wich we flipped over as we definitely did not want to sit on it or the stains on the carpet/rug. It made it feel as though it wasnt cleaned well at all & it also had like an old sweaty smell to the room when we checked in.

The beds were very comfortable. The large refrigerator was great. The large walk-in shower was a bonus. The decor in the room and lobby was delightful!

There is no good lighting for applying makeup. A lighted, wall mounted extension mirror would be amazing. There was no trash basket in the restroom. The robes were quite small.

Huge rooms decorated in a retro style. Large attractive bathroom. Great outdoor spaces.

Well, it IS in Lubbock - not a particularly interesting destination - but for a stop after a long drive, it was a much appreciated option to typical chain motels. Cotton Court is part of a group of hotels but they are all very cute.

We really enjoyed the outdoor courtyard and multiple fireplaces/pits. We appreciated the green spaces in the courtyard to allow our pup to relieve themselves. The bar was well stocked and the bartender and wait staff were accommodating. Overall a great location and room accommodation that is much needed change for Lubbock.

Not enough parking spots. So you’ll have to park on the street, which can be an inconvenience when your having to walk far with a lot of luggage; it’s manageable. Would appreciate a few (4 or so) dedicated electric vehicle charging spots.

the hotel had a cool vibe, the staff was nice and the restaurant was great for breakfast.

the double beds seemed very small. it was difficult with two kids. thankfully they are still pretty young so we could make it work, but they really aren’t big enough for two adults to sleep in one of the beds
