Candlewood Suites El Paso, an IHG Hotel

This hotel exceeded my expectations! The renovations so far are beautiful, and the rooms are equipped with everything you may need (nice size refrigerator, dishwasher, mini stove top, microwave etc.). Breakfast is very basic, but they do have a pancake machine, so that's different, but I wish they had some more options like scrambled eggs. Ultimately, I look forward to seeing the new front desk and all the other completed renovations.

The shower wasn't clean when I arrived and the used bath wash, shampoo, and conditioner was still in there. I always bring my own soap and bath essentials, so I wasn't too worried about that part, and being that it was newly renovated it was easy to wash out.

After a 600 mile drive I wanted a good mattress on the bed and a quiet room. We also wanted to see the state park nearby so it was the perfect location for that. We like to use the loop around El Paso when passing through so again it was in a great location to get out of town without too much traffic early the next morning. It was conveniently located near good dining and other shopping centers.

A great Senior Program that gives good discounts for being an old codger.

The rooms are spacious. The staff are extremely friendly. I really like their pancake maker😍😍😍 About the city - we met the mayor of El Paso.

They do not clean the rooms for those who only stay for 5 days to a week. I wish they did some cleaning on the third day!

Friendly staff. Location. Even though the property is in the process of being renovated, the rooms were nice and clean.

Dogs. The property allows dogs. Some dog owners need to keep the dogs quiet at night. Several times during the night, you could hear the dogs barking.

The staff was very helpful . The facility was very nice. The room was well taken care of and everything we we're hoping for was there

The parking wasn't free

The room was extremely comfortable and very spacious.

It was under renovation during the stay and was a tad noisy during business hours.

Location, Location, Location! We were exactly where we wanted to be, close to attractions, and we could even walk to restaurants nearby.

We really missed having a safe in the room. We were out all day and often until late at night -- we would have hated to come back and found things stolen because they weren't locked up.

We were arriving early and I called by chance to see if we could check in sooner. The staff member said, No, unfortunately because the room was not ready. She took my number and said she call as soon as it was available. She called soon after and said we could check in. I wasn’t expecting a call back to add she was very professional and polite.

Location was great. Front desk staff was super helpful - they didn't have the room we requested, but he was able to figure out a solution that worked well for us.

Room was generally fine. Complaints were super minor.

Location was great, beds were good, staff was geat.

A couple of dryers were out of order which makes for a back up in Laundry.
