I liked the location, as well as the room. I like to get out in the afternoon and night and take strolls. There is a shopping complex next to the motel that is great for this. It is a beautiful area and that is the reason that I stayed here. It was an eleven-night Fall Foliage Trip. The facilities were clean and the personnel were very friendly. If I ever return to this area I will definitely stay here.

The room was comfy and so was the bed was not expecting to see a recliner that was a plus.

The shower was very slippery like someone put oil in the tub so had to put a towel down to keep from falling that was the only downside.

I liked the staff, location, and value.

There wasn't anything really that I didn't like necessarily. The hotel is older so it's like an older hotel it has little quirks. But the staff and the price make it worth it.

Let me brag on Gloria. She personally walked me to each room until satisfied. She answered all my questions about the area. And her & her roommate pushed my car so that it could be jumped. Then her roommate/best friend jumped it. They later checked on me. Also the cleaning staff was friendly. The room is spacy, clean and didn't smell bad.

The room was decent for the price. The front desk lady, Gloria, was wonderful. Our 1st room didn't have light in bathroom, 2nd room had flickering vanity light, 3rd room good. Microwave was dirty & we had no trash can.

The lady when I checked in was really sweet and helpful. It was quite and convenient at the same time.

I didn't like the 1st room I was given because it smelled like cat but as stated below the lady was really helpful and sweet and promptly moved me.

Quiet, comfortable stop with places to eat nearby so you don’t have to travel far.

The stairs were a little rickety

The room was big enough it was great i enjoyed the tub and i rested good

I was satisficed they met every request with grace and smiles

people were nice to help out

other guests were knocking on our door in the middle of the night, but it was ok because it was a mistake

Only thing is the outside lighting. You really couldnt tell it was night time if you looked towards the window but liked the safety of the lighting on the cars.

price and staff are great for our short weekend trips to the blue ridge mountains.

the floors really need to be mopped in the rooms.
