The hotel was amazing. It was in a great, safe location, it wasn’t crowded with other hotels or business. If you go down the road, there’s a nice restaurant there. Nothing too fancy, a basic family restaurant. In the hotel, it was very clean, the front desk lady was super sweet, very friendly. There was an area where you could buy drinks, snacks even little stuff for laundry. Also if you got something ex; you’re tooth brush they will provide it. I love how they include hand wash soap instead of a bar soap. They even had dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner. 100% would stay here again. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows too!

Was disappointed there wasn’t a microwave you had to go to the lobby if you wanted something heat up. I didn’t notice a coffee maker, there was two in the lobby. Breakfast was ok, nothing too crazy, coffee could have been better. Lastly I did not see a Bible in the room; other hotels I notice provide one like the last hotel we stayed in. Otherwise everything else was wonderful!

when the new young girl checked me in, I got to my room and it wasn’t clean…. I called downstairs and she told me they would put me in a room down the hall but it was a 2 double bed instead of a single….. then the next day an older woman (manager?) called to see if I was checking out because that room was booked for someone else for that evening….. I was set to stay Saturday, Sunday and Monday—— apparently the original girl that moved me to the other room didn’t change anything so it looked like I was a different guest. the manager was great, didn’t move me and even came upstairs to make sure my keys still worked.

The bed was excellent. The shower was excellent. The room was very clean. The breakfast and coffee was terrible. If you save money by staying at this hotel, you will likely spend some on breakfast elsewhere. Not a deal-breaker for me, because all other aspects of the stay were excellent. But don't expect much from breakfast.

Breakfast. It was really not worth the price of admission. They made a big deal about the coffee being fresh ground, but the resultant coffee tasted quite literally like brown water. Starbucks was my first stop...

Nothing that I didn't like. The only thing is when I asked the front desk about restaurants in the area, I was told the buffet next door was good. However, later that night I saw another front desk operator provide a guest with a list of restaurants in the area. So, would have liked to have received the list. This is the ONLY thing I can speak to that wasn't 100%.

Excellent hotel. Room was small but very efficient and comfortable. Bed was comfy. Everything was clean and well maintained. Great location as well and we really enjoyed the always-available tea and coffee station in the lobby.

The only complaint I could possibly think of was that breakfast was a bit lacking when we arrived about 45 minutes before breakfast was over. Some things were empty and there was no milk left for cereal. But we were able to find other options with no problems.

We truly were impressed with the service and the cleanliness! Avid was very convenient from the interstate! The room was laid out with the traveler in mind. There were plenty of shelves and hooks. We had a refrigerator and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was perfect. There were many selections.

The coffee was delicious but the cups were too hot to hold. Also the cup filled up so high that there was very little room for the creamer.

Beautiful facility. Centrally located to what we needed for our trip. Breakfast was delicious. The weight room was very accommodating for our workouts, where most hotels only have 1-2 pieces of equipment. Didn’t get opportunity to use pool, but looked great. Will definitely recommend to others. When we come back to area & need a place to stay, AVID-STAUNTON will definitely be our first option.

No complaints. Very pleased with all.

Breakfast was excellent with a wide assortment of food. I normally don’t drink coffee because of the bitterness but this coffee was ground for each cup and it was delicious. The serving area was kept very clean by a staff member who continually wiped the counters. Very impressed. The building and rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly and competent.

Brand new hotel. Everything very clean and modern. Located in very peaceful area surrounded by forests and deer. Window shades excellent at keeping room dark. Was very uncrowded hotel and lobby when I stayed.

Breakfast still standard unhealthy American hotel chain breakfast. No hot water morning I was there. Front desk offered a small discount upon checkout. Still waiting to see the credit on my credit card.

Liked the breakfast, except coffee was VERY weak!! Staff was very nice, loved all the seating areas especially the outside tables. Room was very quiet and, as asked, way away from the elevator. Bed very comfy.

Room & bathroom floors were very very dirty! Ruined one pair of socks they were so dirty. Rest of of room very clean. Didn’t like sitting outside where smokers could also sit. Coffee very weak.
