The bed was wonderful. Very comfortable and luxurious. Lots of counter top in the bathroom, Plenty of hang up space as well. There were no unusual smells. The young woman at check in was very nice.

The breakfast was mediocre. I was looking for milk and none was available. I had a dog and I always pick up after my dogs at hotels. This hotel made it difficult with no waste can anywhere near my room and the grassy area. The outside pavement is in need of serious repair and has a deep area like an inverse speed bump.

Location was great to see and do things. Loved that they offered a pool and some solid looking lounge chairs. Our room had a sitting room area and the air conditioning worked well. The decor was outdated, but clean! Good short term stay. Staff at the front desk were very friendly.

Carpet in the bedroom seemed quite old (felt like it wasn’t so firmly attached to the concrete anymore) but was clean!

The photos on line were accurate. Only staying one night I was willing to balance the reality of the hotel with the price offered. There was no compromise. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were beyond expectation. After a bit of experimentation with the Heat controls the room was very comfortable. I would return and wish I could find this style of vintage hotel more in my travels.

Nothing is ever perfect and while I got to check in early the room that was available I was told had a squeeky fan in the bath/shower and I said that it was fine I was sure I could survive it. Wow it really really was squeey and loud. Glad that there was plenty of light from the alcove area to shower by because I am sure I would have awaken numerous other guests at 5:00 in the morning. But really that was the only item and I had been told about it in advance.

The staff was friendly and very helpful, they honored all my requests and helped me with my questions on technology. Overall my entire stay was enhanced by the staff's support!

Only thing I wasn't comfortable with was the extra measure of security on the door was broken/missing but no worries I improvised.

I think they should had smart TV we’re we can had access to Nexflix or YouTube is not a lot options on the TV. TV quality poor.

The location is great for what we had planned. The Staff is great! We really want to appreciated Tabitha and Nikky for pet sitting our 4 leggies friends. They are great and caring. We recommend ppl traveling with pets. :)

The bed. Way too soft. Room was big ....clean. Hope next visit they have other room with more firm mattress. Overall: Awesome

Convenient location with a comfy bed.

Some of the maintenance fixes were wonky. The door stop was loosely screwed in so it wobbled a bunch. I still felt safe it was kind of odd they didn’t do that fix correctly.

Liked the location and the pool. Also a great value for the area.

Carpet was in desperate need of cleaning. Walking around on the carpet turned my socks black.

Very friendly staff and great place to stop along the Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway for the night! Bed was very comfortable and accommodation very clean!!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was the best of my entire trip. Other Quality Inns as well as OTHER competing hotels should take a lesson from this proprietors in hospitality and in meeting and exceeding expectations when they advertise: "breakfast included"
