Residence Inn by Marriott Williamsburg

The location is very convenient, the halls smelled great ALL the time, all staff when encountered were very nice & the breakfast bar/area was wonderful.

The pool wasn’t the most presentable, the fire pit wasn’t operational nor presentable & the grill didn’t work good as well as needed to be cleaned. There was also possible mold in the restroom & after a certain point (latter part of 2nd and all of 3rd) staff was practically nonexistent.

The stag was great and everything was very clean. We checked in late there was some issues with over booking king suites. The stag was very accommodating and straightened everything out.

The staff in the cafeteria were slammed and did their best but the breakfast was rough. We thanked them after we ate for their service but the were very overwhelmed. Updated equipment and possibly 2 waffle makers would be a big help for them.

the room was nice, but one of the beds had hair on it and when turning down the top comforter there were stains on it that looked like blood. we called the front desk and there were going to have housekeeping bring us a new comforter and sheets and we got the sheets and not the comforter. the bathroom was not satisfactory it looked like dirt in the tub. A friend of mine was in the elevator with an employee that worked at the hotel and the employee told my friend that she didn’t feel well and my friend said that the employee didn’t look good. why would you have an employee come to work sick being around the customer staying at the hotel?

We had a suite thanks to Booking. I am a Marriott member but all suites were sold out on their site. We were there several days. With 3 adults it was perfect. No calling room to room. The breakfast was awesome. I loved coming in from the heat and getting an ice cream bar from cooler. So many extras.

The breakfast crew, David and Ray, were great! The staff made our stay incredible. EVERYONE greeted us as we left for the day and came back later. It was super clean and always smelled wonderful. They even had dog and cat treats for the animal guests! 10/10 would stay again!

Not enough towels in room, room accommodated 6 only enough towels for 3, idea of pets in rooms or near breakfast area and proper sanitizing after

When I first arrived I was not greeted by a black guy with bald head he seems to be very moody and didn't like his job I started to walk out the door but I had already booked my reservation or at least I had info stating that to find out I didn't exist in the system thanks to booking .com

I liked the layout and space in room - very clean and comfortable.

I wish I had known upfront about the pet fee of $100 - instead it was mentioned casually after I had checked-in when it was too late for me to re-consider. I thought it was excessive but do understand that maybe we were paying for those with pets that disregarded the policies. Also, a small gripe about open concept room - no doors means light showing into bedroom which was just a small, small inconvenience to the early sleeper. Overall, I was happy with the room and hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff are wonderful and friendly esp those serving the breakfast. It's just wonderful to see their smiling faces to start your day.
