We had a great family vacation seeing the sights of DC! This hotel is such a great location, our kids scootered everywhere which they loved! Great bar / restaurant in the lobby and nice rooms. Highly recommend

• Room was quite dark, no significant lightning. • Receptionist charged me a complete absurd sum for my stay, despite the fact that my booking included tax. They double charged me occupancy tax, and a different rate than the one I’ve booked. • Wifi at a 5* hotel at a cost.. laughable. They even me for internet despite being a Bonvoy member.

- Location was perfect for exploring Washington - Beautifull historic hotel - Food quality and drinks were excellent - Bell and Concierge Service were extremely friendly and helpfull

- Aircondition in the room was very loud - Restaurant host and check-im desk were no match to concierge an bell service. There is definitely improvemenr potential.

very small beds ( and we are very ordinary size people) and very expensive breakfast (though we booked a room that includes breakfast but the hotel staff said that Booking.com misled us and it includes a limited 54 USD credit, and as a family of 5 we needed to add on average around 100 USD per day

Beautiful please… very opulent great location and a very nice bar. The rooms are spacious and clean

The only thing that bothered me was that the bed was not very comfortable and I was not able to get a good sleep

the staff was amazing from the time you arrived to getting to and from your room. close to the metro, taxis available when you walked out the door, the restaurant was good, a little pricy and the hours were limited.

the room was spacious and the closet was superb however, our room never cooled off even though the air was set to 65. one night the air conditioner went out and had to be replaced the next day.

This is definitely the other Whitehouse!!! A must see hotel that truly offers a distinctive boutique experience. You will be treated like royalty here. The dining at the Edgar and the chic after hours bar are another plus! A must see & stay experience for everyone, from families to celebrities! They do block off floors for VIP status and have a phenomenal Presidential Suite.

It is very inconvenient not to have a coffee maker in the room and a microwave. Hot water and coffee were placed in the lobby for a limited time, and the restaurant closed at ten, so there was no way to have coffee or warm-up water in your room. For the room price, it would not be nice if you added these amenities to the room.

My bed was uncomfortable. The mattress was a little too soft.

Great location. The hotel is located close to Dupont Circle where you can find shops, restaurants, and a great bookstore. It's a historic, elegant hotel which continues to be well run. I recommend it.D

Due to the large size of the hotel, and to a limited staff, there were moments when the front desk seemed a bit disorganized. They were hosting several large conferences. No room service. You had to pick up your food at the bar. Here again, the service was a bit slow.

The room was large with lots of space to walk around the king-size bed. The bathroom had a great design of tile and lighting. The mattresses were firm and comfortable. The front desk staff was very helpful. The lobby is huge.

The Keurig coffee machine in the room seemed unable to make the water hot without a cup in the machine, so we were unable to make our own filtered coffee.
