I liked pretty much everything. I had a pretty spacious studio. It was well equipped and comfy. The photos are the same as the accommodation looks like.

A small disappointment was a view from my window and a little bit of noise from the vent outside. That's the reason why I would rate the hotel with 9.

I was in the city for the July 4th fireworks and to visit the Smithsonian museums. The location was amazing. Just 20 minutes walk to the White House and the National Mall. Also, 2-3 minute walk to 2 Metro stations that gave me access to every part of the city. The rooms were comfortable and reasonably well maintained. Some others have complained about cleanliness but my room was fully cleaned when I arrived. The fully equipped kitchen made it more of a studio apartment than a hotel room. The bed was firm which was a bonus because I like firm beds. Some others have also complained about noise but I was on the 9th floor and noise wasn’t a problem at all. I also had music playing at a low level when I was in my room so that may have helped. I did not notice street or traffic noise at night.

The lobby area looks a little worn out and when I was there, the lounge area was closed. The elevator interior was really worn out as well. There was a mildewy smell in the hallways of the hotel. The smell, fortunately, did not transfer to my room.

The place was basically a medium size apartment, with a nice modern kitchen, a big area to leave the luggage and nice clean bathroom with warm water. The location is also very convenient, very close to the touristic attractions, there is a Mexican restaurant directly downstairs which was very tasty, and many coffee places in a short walk distance.

The towel rack was not properly fixed into the wall and we did not know to whom communicate it. But apart from that everything else was really good.

The room was actually a studio apartment. We expected a small kitchenette, but we had a full, modern kitchen. It had all the necessary utensils, nice dishes and other amenities. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the open area between the hall and bathroom where the ironing board, and open closet with plenty of clothes hangers, plus a nice sized mirror were available. The bedroom was nice, ample size, clean & comfortable. Plenty of electrical connectors are available. The lighting was not enough around the bed, more raised lights would be better for reading. Nice mirrors throughout the space. Location was excellent. Very nice Peruvian fusion restaurant right next to Sonder. This made a huge difference because restaurants close earlier in the downtown area. Gregory's coffee within one & two blocks, plus a Pete's coffee on 17th. A huge plus are having the Metro stations very close by. You can easily get to the IAD airport (49 mims + walking to Gates, total 1hr & 15 mins to be safe), and major tourist sights. There's a Nordstrom Rack about a block away, very convenient if you need to purchase clothing to adjust to the weather. We felt very safe walking from the metro to the hotel even late at night.

You need to get a laundry app to use the washer/dryer. This was somewhat of a challenge if you don't use lots of apps! However, once we got the app, the washing procedure was easy. This should be stated in the room guide/instructions. Lighting in the bedroom could be a lot better. Checking in: At times the code doesn't work with the first or second attempt. We found if you input the code quickly it works on the first attempt.

Excellent location, within short walking distance to two Metro stations and other public transport options. That made all major tourist attractions (National Mall, Smithsonians, Arlington, Congress, Georgetown) easy to get to. Well equipped kitchen (Trader Joe's nearby - 15-20 mins by foot). Quiet, safe neighbourhood with eating-out options handy (one, very popular, right next door). Good-sized room meant a very comfortable stay (one week) and can recommend this accommodation.

Lighting in room could be improved, especially over the breakfast bar.

Location is amazing, really close to at least 2 metro stops and bus stops. Area feels safe although I never really went out very late. Quite close to coffee shops and other retails stores. I also remembered walking from there to White house and its just 20-30 minutes away by walking. I like that the studio with kitchen had complete equipment to actually cook - which I normally do when I travel. Also, they left ground coffee packets to make your own brewed coffee. The room size is big and complete with typical hotel stuff (e.g. iron, iron board, hair dryer) so I didn't need to request like in other smaller chains.

The tap water had a strange taste (I didn't like the after taste using the tap water even for brushing only). There is a filtered water provided but I had to go down every time and also there was no pitcher in the kitchen.

We liked the room, with the well equipped kitchen. The hotel was in a good localisation, so that you were able to visit the city on foot. When we had a power failure in the room, the intervention was quick, and the application is really useful for that. The tv is also a good bonus, with all the Amazon Prime, Disney, Netflix, ... available (you still need your own codes, but you have an access, that will automaticaly erase your passwords). I would recommand the hotel. Essentials items are available at all time, as much as laundry machines. Really big room.

We missed a warm blanket, and maybe add a little table in the bathroom, to put our clothes on (and not on the floor). We still had a power failure in the kitchen, because of the toaster, twice, that was settled.

This is a very comfortable place to stay for a work trip. The room was really nice and comfortable, and well equipped. The helpline are responsive when you need help, so it is not hugely problematic that there are not staff readily on site (though I saw staff a few times so they are around). Overall, I’d recommend the place - nicer rooms than some more classic hotels in D.C.

I had a US number while there so could easily text the help number. This might be more difficult if you don’t have a local number.

The room was perfect for what we needed, which was basically a place to sleep and take a shower. The kitchen was great, and although we didn't use it much, it was well stocked. We didn't need to replace any essentials, but it seemed they were readily available. The location was awesome - very close to all trains, and close to coffee / restaurants. I wasn't sure if the access would be a problem, but we had zero issues with the code working at any of the access points.

For someone who wanted to spend any time in the room, it would not have been adequate. Lighting wasn't great, and one lamp was broken. There really wasn't much seating other than the bed and a couple of small chairs.

The room was specious, ultra clean, equipped with all the needed amenities. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly and the kitchen had everything one need to make a meal. The hotel was 4 minutes walk from two different metro stations and had great access to other public transport services. The hotel is located in a business area with little if any residential buildings, I stayed here because I needed to be close to a certain law firm but unless you have business around, I'd suggest you to stay in a different location. I had a problem with the access code (I needed to change it for personal reasons) and Sonder were super responsive and helpful in the chat via their app.

I stayed on the 7th floor with my room facing to the back alley and I was still able to hear street noises.
