Loved the location and closeness to everything. The restaurant attached to it is good. And the staff was quick and friendly.

The room was small and the only parking available nearby is valet which is $60 per day.

I was worried that by paying less, using booking.com rather than calling the hotel directly or going through its website, I’d get a lousy room. This was not the case: I was upgraded to a beautiful suite - bright and sunny, sparkling clean. I also got a free breakfast booking the way I did, for a lower price than the hotel’s rate. This is a stylish, modern hotel in an unbelievable location, less than a ten minute walk to the DuPont Circle metro. Need to mention the terrific soap, lotion and shower products: they smelled heavenly. The front desk was extremely helpful when I asked for directions. The doormen were polite and gracious. The gentleman who was the breakfast host was a delight: he works very hard at his job, clearly enjoys it, and was friendly to everyone who came in. He is an asset to the hotel.

The gorgeous room WAS missing a few amenities: no plastic bag for dirty clothes, only one robe for two people, no bottle of water in the room. Also, a McDonald’s bag and cup sat on an outside hallway table for two days, never picked up. One other note which is NOT the hotel’s fault: a group of guests were rude and loud outside my room which was a few doors from the elevator around midnight. Do hotels need to post a sign saying “Please keep your voice low in the hall out of respect for fellow guests who may keep different sleeping hours” ?

The hotel was in a perfect location and the room was lovley and big

Not so much a dis like but we were only provided with 2 bath robes and again we were a family of 3 this is just slightvattention to detail when welcoming guests

We did have an issue with our television when we first checked in, but it was quickly solved by Nicole and we appreciate her attentiveness to any concern we had.

The customer service was top notch. All friendly staff and very accomodating. To our surprise when we checked in we were given a $25.00 voucher for ea day of our stay to use in their restaurant/bar. We combined all 3 days and had drinks in the bar!

Only complaint i had was the thermostat. Its one of those motion detector smat ones. So while u are sleepimg it doesnt detect movement in the room and shuts off. So waking up at 6am and its 82 degrees in the room was horrible. On that note, i did call the front desk and they sent the maintence man to check it for us anyway. While he was there he noticed the toilet sounded funny and checked on it. A few hours later i recieved a text asking if we are satisfied and if we needed anything else. It was nice that they followed up. That night we came back to our room after being gone all day to a bottle of champagne and macaroons! What a thoughtful surprise.

My family had a corner suite that consisted of a double room and an executive suite. The rooms were separate , but we could close off the main hallway door and open up our individual room doors. This worked out well because we were there for my son's college graduation and his grandmothers stayed in the double room and the rest of my family stayed in the executive suite.

The one thing that I didn't like was that the restaurant doesn't offer any turkey or vegan meat options on the breakfast and dinner menus. Washington DC is a metropolitan city that attracts visitors with a variety of food preferences. Everyone can't or chooses not to eat red meat, or meat at all. It would be nice for the hotel restaurant to take that into consideration and provide turkey bacon and burgers, as well as, beyond breakfast sausage and burgers.

It was a very clean hotel with very fast easy check in process that was both straightforward and convenient. The room was very spacious, clean and brightly lit during the day. I found the lights to be a bit to dim for my liking, especially in the bathroom but the light through the big windows allow for natural light to fill the room so it wasn't a major issue in the day.

No place for lunch. You can walk across the street or within a block for food outside the hotel, but the hotel restaurant didn't open until 4 p.m. everyday. Not a big deal - again.

the management at this location is outstanding, I was so impressed with this hotel and its welcoming and accommodating atmosphere and willingness to help anyone with questions or concerns regarding their reservations or just general. I have never felt so welcomed at a hotel and treated with such kindness and will always refer this location for all friend’s family and co workers. Anita behind the desk I was especially impressed with, along with the valet, and even maintenance when an elevator went down, he quickly fixed the issue. I will be staying here always and recommend it to anyone. rooms and location are fantastic

There is a lot to like. The location is great, the lobby and the restaurant have a great vibe. The rooms have a nice design, the staff are friendly and helpful

A few minor things which I don’t get. This is a high end property, why have the cheapest bathroom doors in the rooms which don’t even close properly.? Why limit the number of devices which can connect to the internet to 3?

It’s a property and relatively central in DC - so walkable to many areas and to many of the DC metro lines. They were able to accommodate my arrival and departure times without any issues. The breakfast options and quality have improved a lot which is great. Rooms are also very spacious.

Some very minor aspects where the taps were a little loose but functioned completely fine. There isn’t much insulation from noise in the corridor so that could bother you if you are unlucky to have noisy fellow guests.
