Clean , location was convenient

I had called in advance to discuss the couch bed and wether it would be comfortable for a senior or adult. I was told yes. Does the agent truly know about the couch bed ? The couch bed is Wafer thin and you one can feel the springs upon lying on it . There are better couch beds that I’ve been in in hotels. Your couch beds all need to be replaced. Aside from a young child , sleeping on that couch should not be normalized and sold as a decent place to sleep by the hotel. This is misguided. Thank you.

the building was very secure and felt safe, it was very clean and really nice! the Bed was comfortable and the added toiletries were great! I loved that there were cotton pads/Qtips and a filer, I’ve never had a hotel offer those and they came in handy! the slippers and robe were so cute and I love that I had the option of the added luxury! there were extra pillows and blankets in the closet and even a fun book to enjoy! the breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of great grab and go options, I was full when I left! there were plenty of places in a walking distance and the hotel was super close to the Ferry, a gas station in the parking lot made the location so convenient!! discounts at local restaurants and details of things near by! overall amazing experience and will definitely be staying again when I’m in the area!

I received exactly what I payed for, maybe more. Let me put it this way, I worked at 4 of the most elegant & expensive hotels, in LA, CA, for 5 years. which ended after The Mondrian, in 03/2001. In 2000, a standard room rate was $500 a night; end of story. No exceptions, no coupons & no 3rd party, discount rate bookings. Most the hotel guests, stay under aliases because only celebrities, their agents & entertainment lawyers, are predominantly, the only status of patrons, whom can afford to stay there. The Apartment was $3,000 a night & the Penthouse was $8,000 a night. This hotel reflects much of The Mondrian’s modern ambiance, in the interior & a beautiful cottage home scene, for the exterior. All the staff are too sweet, welcoming & most important, emphasize cleanliness. The entire staff, seem trained in uncanny professionalism.

My poor view of Chevron, next door; no big deal. Not like I stared out the window much. Busy!

Breakfast was not special. However there were plenty of close by restaurants/food providers. The smallness of the hotel was nice and access to the parking garage in the basement was a plus. Engagement with staff was positive. Shopping center across the street with a large grocery store, drug store and Starbucks was very convenient.

A larger trash can would have been useful.

a pet friendly floor at the hotel that is our preference for a place to stay

there was a mini-fridge. we had considerable leftovers and put them in the fridge. Next morning we discovered the fridge either was not working or was not turned on. everything was warm. lots of wasted food. big disappointment. tried to check in at 4:00. was told the room would not be ready for 30 minutes. the room smelled fine, but 2 fairly large & visible rug stains.

The value, the location, the cleanliness and the floorplan were very pleasing. I appreciated the breakfast for the cost, I thought the coffee in the lobby was very good. The lobby is a pleasant space. Every area was extremely clean. I like the secure parking garage.

The only thing, and it's minuscule, is the insulation/construction between floors could have been better, because I heard every footstep, and every rollover in the bed in the room above me.

Great location, super nice staff, nice continental breakfast, nice snacks in afternoon, nice garage for cars, air conditioned, big rooms. Rooms are outdated but clean, would stay there again.

Outdated rooms with old musty scent but not enough to say I wouldn't stay there. Everything else especially staff are terrific. Need a new toaster lol.

Great location for doing everything we wanted to do. Our check in was a breeze and the front desk staff informed us of all the amenities and hours of operation of the lobby. Parking is free and in a secure underground garage that you access with your room key. Nice little grab and go breakfast plus there is a refrigerator in the lobby that is stocked with milk, water, yogurt and some sodas available all day. Our room was clean and ready for us when we arrived. We had a microwave and small refrigerator in our room and both worked well. It was quiet at night even with the windows open.

Large suite and bathroom. Large windows. A/C & heater unit worked well. Quiet hallways. Across the street from Safeway, Starbucks, restaurants and a short distance to the ferry to Seattle. We walked onto the ferry from the hotel- it was about a 20 minute walk.

When we checked in, the system went down and our credit card information needed to be written down on a piece of paper. This should not be the protocol for safety reasons. We waited for the system to be back up before proceeding. Parking Garage was tight for our 1500 Ram truck as well as not many spaces available if coming back to the hotel late. Wasn’t greeted by the front desk as we approached the front desk. Not a deal breaker but the stay was not cheap and I would’ve appreciated a simple welcome at the very least. There was Grab and Go breakfast consisting of an orange, apple, 2 granola bars, and a dried danish in a brown paper bag.

The rooms were exceptionally spacious. It is dog friendly so that was truly enjoyable to see . They even had a water bowl with snacks in the lobby. The rooms were clean and equipped with microwave , refrigerator, robes, slippers and iron. The lobby was equipped with complimentary drinks, snacks, energy bars, fruits, etc. The staff was friendly and efficient. There was easy free covered parking. The hotel is conveniently located near a gas station, grocery store, restaurants, Starbucks, bank, etc. I highly recommend Marshall Suites.
