Quality Inn & Suites Silverdale Bangor-Keyport

The individual rooms have been remodeled and are very nice. The breakfasts were generally good. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great with the mall, grocery store, and several restaurants within walking distance.

The parking lot is difficult with narrow parking spaces and several compact only spaces. The hallways and stairs are unimpressive, but according to staff, will be remodeled in the near future.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. We had a kitchenette that came in handy for refrigerating leftovers from our restaurant dinner. Also, breakfast was a "grab & go" in a lunch bag. It had a sausage sandwich and a large muffin. The microwave in our room was good for heating them. They may have offered one in the lobby too, I didn't pay mind with the intention of eating in my room. Coffee/tea and a juice machine was offered in the lobby as well as 2 fruit choices. I felt they did a good job with their offerings considering not having an open breakfast area due to covid restrictions. Actually, the food was offered in the lobby so I'm not even sure if they have a dining area for a typical breakfast outside of covid era.

The staff said there was no elevator. There are 3 floors. It didn't affect me directly this time because we are light packers but it would have if we had heavy suitcases and/or ambulatory issues. I'm a retiree and have a slight knee issue carrying a backpack. But I was able to make it to my 2nd floor room fine. Also, we did want the A/C on but the controls didn't work to reduce it or turn it off. My husband woke up in the middle of the night shivering. He was closest to the A/C. We didn't want to unplug it in case it messed things up. He felt it was disabled intentionally by the hotel so it couldn't be messed with. It could be the error was on our side, though.

The room was small but very clean (we had a queenbed). Plus, the staff was very friendly.

I didn't realize when I booked that there were no elevators. We were on the 3rd floor and had just driven 8 1/2 hrs and then we had to carry all of our heavy luggage up 2 flights of stairs to get to the 3rd floor. Was very hard. I don't do stairs well. Would be nice to let people know in your ad that there are no elevators.

It was clean. Room was small but perfect for us and well furnished. Nice rv with plenty of channels. Bathroom and shower clean and nice shower head. Lobby was small but clean and nice. A bbq and tables were set up outside the entrance which made for a nice sitting area. Staff was great…friendly and helpful. Place was quiet even with a lot of guests.

I know covid is responsible for no breakfast other than Jimmy dean sandwiches but I missed it. It seemed much more expensive than last time at Quality Inn.

The location is perfect because is near from several restaurants and stores.

The room we got was in front of the vending machine, and it was very noisy for us. And it is time for a facilities restyling

Great location close to everything. Big shopping area all around. There was breakfast in the bag - appreciated - though the internet said no breakfast, but google maps mentioned it, that's how we learned about it. No street noise in the room. Room opens into the bathroom sink area, that was different, but from inside of the room it makes sense.

Bed squeaking. No clear signs how to get on the parking lot

The breakfasts and morning coffee were good and the staff exceptional. Everyone from the front desk to cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. There wasn't anything I didn't like about the overall service and accommodations.

Nothing that I did not like comes to mind.

No elevators, which we were glad we have very little luggage. The bathroom was a bit old, but it was ok.

The breakfast was juice coffee apples and oranges could have gone for a breakfast sandwich the coffee was very good. Well done in this COVID time realize this is not the regular times. Good job!
