Lovely apartments, exceptionally clean, great location for the train station. We really loved the rooms and decor.
Currently very loud construction occurring right outside our windows commencing at 6.30am. Would have been nice to know this ahead of time so we could make use of the ear plugs provided downstairs. No staff on-site - this was a little annoying when no wifi details were given at check-in and we do not have U.S. phones so we were reliant on wifi to contact someone... about the wifi password. Would also be nice to have more lockers to leave luggage prior / after check-in and check-out. They would have been super helpful, but were all being used when we arrived.

My husband and I stayed at Sonder Railspur for four nights to attend the Seahawk/Packer game. We had no issues finding the hotel. A couple of days before check-in, we received an email with detailed instructions and passcodes. The directions were clear, and although the hotel is a bit tucked away, we had no problems locating it. Arriving several hours early, we used the secured lockers to store our luggage. There were plenty of lockers available, and they were large enough for our big bags. I highly recommend downloading the Sonder app, which provides recommendations for nearby shops and restaurants. We tried 13 Coins, a restaurant within walking distance, based on the app's suggestion, and it was delicious. Check-in was seamless. Our room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We had a room with a high loft bed. If you’re afraid of heights, have vertigo, or any disability that prevents you from safely climbing a ladder, this room might not be suitable. It’s also not ideal for small children. However, once we got used to it, the loft bed was cozy and safe. The absence of on-site employees was a bit unusual, but the chat option in the app was super responsive and helpful for minor issues. It was actually more convenient than calling a front desk or waiting in long lines in a lobby. Regarding noise, Seattle is a bustling city, so some city noises are expected. We didn’t encounter any construction noise mentioned in other reviews. During our stay, 'SantaCon' was happening, so one night there was quite a commotion with hundreds of drunk Santas, which was more humorous than annoying. The location was perfect for the game at Lumen Field, just a block away. It’s about a mile from the Market and 2 miles from the Space Needle. Overall, I would stay again, but I would choose a room without a loft or one with a lower loft, which they apparently offer as well.

Beautifully renovated property in historic building. It’s a vibe! Great facilities such as a laundry room and roof terrace. The room was thoughtfully equipped, clean and the handwritten welcome note was a super lovely touch! The location is great, super close to train station and Downtown. I would consider to stay again.
The only point of criticism is the noise. Unfortunately you hear every footstep from above, which is particularly disturbing when it occurs above the bed, as you sleep so close to the ceiling. However it’s manageable as it’s not constantly. Then there’s a construction side next to the building where heavy machinery is used Monday to Saturday from 6:20am to 8pm. I would have loved to sleep a little longer and used noise cancelling headphones to work. Gladly this is temporary but probably a thing to consider especially for guests that intend to stay for leisure or plan to work in the apartment. There is a white noise Maschine and ear plugs provided, which is very much appreciated but doesn’t do the trick unfortunately.

Beautiful design and very functional rooms and great amenities. The features like the phone key and rooftop patio and shared laundry all worked really well. It was easy to keep the room a perfect temperature even with big changes in weather.
There are no staff around, so it feels a bit more like an apartment building. Daily room cleaning doesn't happen unless you request it. I didn't need any assistance or attention but sometimes it felt less secure than a hotel with a reception team and cleaners in the halls.

Great location, so close to King Street railway station. I was upgraded, I think, to a very large room with loft.
For me a little strange entering at 10:30 pm with codes, no people. Okay for a guy, harder for a woman. Air conditioning in my room was very loud, perhaps it supplied air to other rooms? But having just come off a trans-Pacific flight, I was used to the noise, and I slept well.

Good location right near King Street train station (Amtrak) and light rail from airport is walking distance. Close to International District restaurants, and Pioneer Square. The room was very clean, and included a kitchenette
The loft bed was a bit challenging. it’s a very steep metal ladder, and quite high. The room set up wouldn’t work for everyone. It was also a bit unusual to have no front desk, and in fact no human interaction at all for check in and check out. Everything was done through text messaging.

Gorgeous design. Comfortable room. Good location, near the coast, somewhat walkable to downtown (Pike).
1) My check-in was a bit problematic. The elevator wasn’t working, and because there’s no on-site person who works there, none of the online staff knew what was going on. I didn’t want to lug my bag up 4 flights of stairs, which I eventually did. 2) There was construction going on at a nearby building that began at 630am every morning, which was loud, so I didn’t exactly have a pleasant stay.

I enjoyed the comfort of the unit, it had everything listed on the website. I especially liked the comfort of the bed and couch, and I appreciated the included soap and shampoo. This unit also has a full kitchen, an iron and a balcony which was nice.
I would have appreciated some basic spices such as salt/pepper, hot sauce, ketchup/mustard etc. I also didn't end up using the balcony as there was a lot of noise from the construction across the road, and the balcony lacked a good view.

The building is VERY secure and I felt very safe! As a solo traveler that is very important to me. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very modern. I appreciated the toaster in addition to the microwave & fridge/freezer (the welcome note was also a nice touch, esp for someone traveling alone like myself!). The loft design was unique and added an air of coziness! (I specifically look for something unique in a hotel bcuz I try to avoid typical, standard, boring hotel rooms. And seeing your loft style rooms in the pics before I booked really did it for me! 😉) I especially liked being on the 3rd floor so the loft bed was near the roof & I could clearly hear the rain falling which was very soothing! The RailSpur is only a couple blocks from Seattle's King Street train station, within easy walking distance, and that fit with my travel plans as well! I had a wonderful stay & was actually sorry I couldn't stay longer! I will definitely stay with you again in the future when my travels bring me to Seattle!
I want to mention that getting in the front door was a little frustrating as to the timing of entering the code & the door actually releasing. I had to retry it 4-5 times (every time I went out & came back) before I actually got the door to open. So maybe it needs a little adjustment? The only other comment /recommendation I have is in regards to getting onto the bed in the loft. I am a short person and the bed is rather high. It would have been helpful to have a step stool in the loft to help facilitate climbing onto the bed. But overall, everything was wonderful! Thank you!

We loved that it was just a block away from the football stadium, so it was extremely convenient for the purpose of our trip. The loft bed was a unique and fun experience. We would stay again.
Parking is my only complaint. I did not like that parking was not provided. Street parking closest to building was hard to come by. We ended up paying $70 (game day) for parking in the lot that Sonder suggested on their app…we also ended up moving our car after the game crowd cleared out to be closer to our room and because the lot was a little sketchy.
