It has old school charm, it is very quiet, the bedding was very comfortable, nice toiletries, above other hotels when it comes to athletic facilities, friendly staff.

The check in and check out hours could be revisited. We tried to check in early and even if there had been a room, a fee would have been assessed. I reserved the pool as per their policy and there were still people there when I got there so I just gave up the reservation - why make guests reserve if you are not going to enforce it? Restaurant was great but not open all the time.

The Spokane Club is a health club with guest rooms in a beautiful building built around 1910. The building is situated near the Spokane river and the attached health club building has a very nice view of the river from the deli. There were excellent choices of healthy snacks, breakfast and lunch items and coffee in the deli. The rooms were classically decorated and had pictures from the 1900's of the hotel. Everything inside was clean, functional and up to high class hotel standards that exceeded my expectations due to the reasonable price. The Hotel is at one end of the main shopping disctrict of the town. It is a short walk to the Convention Center along a path with a view of the famous Spokane Falls. All of the staff were very freindly and helpful. I even got a haircut from the excellent barber within the building. There are many fitness classes, a pool and other Health Club amenities offered to guest and members.

Beautiful, solid old building that reminded me of some hotels in Ireland and Great Britain. My room was perfect, with a fantastic bed and bedding. Despite being downtown, it was perfectly quiet.

There's some metered street parking, or you can pay $14 a night to park in the hotel's small lot. You can't access the hotel from that lot without a key, so you have to check in before parking there. Hotel staff said the area right around the front of the building is pretty safe but that was you move away from there parking becomes less secure. I did not find a way to get into the hotel lobby except to drag my suitcase up 8 steps.

The location was excellent. Right by downtown, we walked every evening to the events in downtown Spokane. The restaurant is very upscale casual, very old world cozy vibe. Loved it. The staff was friendly and personable and made us feel at home.

The noise on Riverside Drive was loud at night. Also, the drugs and drunks were always a something to worry about. I sympathise with the homeless problem, but if your doped up or drunk in public, you should be hauled off, I don't care who you are.

We enjoy old world class and the Spokane Club resonates with that. Restaurants have been hit so hard and it was apparent that the restaurant at the club has taken a hit during the pandemic. But, we very much enjoyed a great meal and the company of the bartender who also served as our waiter. I forget his name, but we had great conversations and the food was excellent. The ambience was class and quiet. No absurd loud music to talk over.

Parking is a little cumbersome. A valet to the off site parking garage just a block away would be an upgrade. But, it is safe and the Spokane Club's location is also very good to downtown and easy to use for access to any part of the city.

We stayed in the Nest Suite, which is a lovely room overlooking a beautiful church which is lit up at night. The bedroom was spacious and the king bed very comfy. The closet was huge and the room even had a small fridge. The living area was also huge with new furniture and carpeting, and a big tv. A small kitchenette had another fridge, Keurig coffee maker and microwave. It was nice to have actual wine glasses in the room. The bathroom toiletries were very good quality and towels were clean and fluffy. The entire suite was very clean. The location is perfect, so nice to walk all over downtown Spokane with its beautiful architecture and along the river with the view of the falls and the park. You can also easily walk over the bridge to the night market area of restaurants and shops. The front desk staff, several young men, were all so very polite and cheerful.

The bed was comfortable and the staff was great.

The rooms need a microwave so you can heat up your coffee or small food item. We would have preferred some type of complimentary breakfast. Just a simple food bar with fresh fruit, creal, bread, would have been so helpful. The parking charge seems inappropriate. You pay top dollar for a room and then have to pay for parking?? Unfortunately you were out of coffee pods so we were only allowed one each. We drink several cups of coffee in the morning. When you are in vacation and want to lounge in your room, it's a pain to have to go somewhere to get coffee and breakfast.

Nice historic hotel in the city.

Don't like that they charge $25 to check in before 4pm when they had rooms clean and available, I imagine they will soon change check in time to 6pm and check out at 10am. The extra parking fee would be fine if it was a secure lot from foot traffic, it isn't. New manager with new ideas probably thinking about $ and not the guest experience. I won't stay again.

Had a lovely dinner in the historical dining room - staff and food very good. The hotel itself has a long history and wandering around and looking at the displays of old Spokane was very interesting. The location of this hotel is in the heart of downtown Spokane and very walkable to shopping, restaurants, parks etc. We left our car in the garage and walked to several local restaurants. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Spokane.

The location was great. The building is old and historic with a lot of charm, different from your average chain hotel.

No on-site parking, just street parking. You can pay for access to a gated indoor parking garage about a block away. No breakfast either, but there was a small coffee shop/cafe in the attached sports club.
