Ruby River Hotel

The location is ideal. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the shower stall with nice bath supplies. We really enjoyed our meal on the patio and the free bikes to ride! We loved the outdoor games area too!

The lighting the the room could be better. I would have liked a couple more lamps so we didn't have to use the harsh overhead lighting. Our view in the room was of a wall but we weren't too bothered by it.

We have been to spokane a few times over the years and after staying at the Ruby River we will likely never stay anywhere else again. It ticked all of our boxes. The staff were very friendly. The room was a good size, we had a little patio (not private) that looked out over the rose garden and river, and it was fairly clean. Bed were pretty comfortable. Took us some time to figure out where the fridge and microwave were hidden but glad we had them as these are a must when traveling with kids. The amentities at this hotel were exactly what we needed. The pool was clean and fairly large plus it never really got that busy. The playground is tiny but my toddler was so thrilled as we have never stayed at a hotel with a park and she was so missing parks as we traveled. Breakfast was a limited selection but everyone in our group was able to find something they liked.The restaurant staff were AMAZING. It is a bit hard to get into this restaurant on the day of (no fault of theirs) but we were so happy we got in even if it was late in the evening. The staff were so good with my toddler, offered us some berries and cream to occupy her, interacted with her each time they passed our table, and never once made us feel bad about her behavior when she got a bit tired and crabby. The food was AMAZING. The menu is small but every single dish we ordered was a hit. We wanted a light meal so the smaller portion sizes were actually perfect for us. My mother who is very very particular and never impressed by food had the salmon puff pastry and is still talking about it! I have a gluten allergy so my options were limited but the tempura shrimp dish was incredible. If you stay at this hotel, please do yourself a favor and make reservations for this restaurant! You will not be disappointed! We 100% will be back. We are also still amazed at the price of this place considering how great it is!

I don't have any complaints about this hotel. The only thing that was a slight negative was that there was a used lipstick in the corner by the bed that must have been missed during cleaning that my toddler nearly ate. Luckily not the worst thing to be missed! But still not great. Otherwise the room did seem really clean to us!

Check in was seamless. Loved that I was able to precheck in and was notified by email that my room was ready. We enjoyed the pool area and the lovely couches to relax on. I was within a few blocks of the Spokane Arena, so I could walk to the concert and not have to worry about parking. Updated room and bathroom. Would be nice to have a full length mirror.

I paid extra for breakfast but when I arrived there were no plates and I had to track someone down to request more. The food was ok. Not much variety. A lot of the food was gone by 9am. There was no coffee when I went to get something to drink. Outside chairs were locked up so there was limited seating outside until later.

Everything was great. The staff was super helpful and we received an upgrade. The room was large, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The carpet looked brand new. We asked for a referral to a "local" restaurant and it was perfect. Our room had a patio and a view. The hotel is right at the river walk and you could literally walk to downtown and to campuses...and we did. The restaurant had a great happy hour menu which fit our needs perfectly. Free parking as well.

I would have preferred a safe in the room. Also, we were not impressed with the breakfast buffet for the price. We chose to eat elsewhere for breakfast.

We were very relieved to find a last minute place to stay when all the national brands were full. It was fortunate because we found our new go-to place to stay in Spokane. Lovely property, staff, and room. The little fenced in dog park between the building and the river was fantastic to have!

On of our towels was stained with something brown. It should have either been bleached or removed from rotation. It was a gross discovery in and otherwise nice room.

I messed up and left an item in the room after check out. They found the item and shipped it to me... The integrity and honesty is stellar with this business. When we are spending the night in Spokane wa. This is the only Hotel we stay at. We have been there several times and they continue to go above and beyond... I really can't say enough about this business. Do yourself a solid and look no further for a place to stay...

Absolutely nothing...

We only stayed one night so we did not get to take advantage of the pool area or the breakfast. The hotel itself when pulling up looked similar to an apartment or motel, but don't let that scare you. The room was very nice and comfortable. The hotel had a great restaurant with views of the river, so location was perfect. Staff was also very friendly. This hotel also offers a free 4hr bike rental which I thought was awesome.

The only downside I have (and it isn't too major) is that the bathroom in our room was a little small. When opening and closing the door, the door was an inch away from the toilet. Other than that everything was excellent to me.

Had a great experience here comfortable bed, clean room, and the pool facilities are top notch. It was nice to have a restaurant with a bar available on the premises too. Was concerned about traffic noise with a room facing the street but didn't here traffic once. It was also nice to have a continental breakfast available in the morning just needs a little more options available.

Like I said previously the room was very clean but it did have a slight hint of smoke in the room. I don't know if someone smoked in it or it came in through the open window but with a little air freshener and some time it started to clear up.

The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. The refrigerator and microwave were tucked away so that there was no noise or light from them to disturb your sleep. The bathroom had good counter space and a nice shower. The view of the river was nice, and the grounds were pretty.

The breakfast options were limited, mainly eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal and yogurt. There was some fresh fruit. There was no butter for toast. Loaves of bread were set out in their packages so that everyone had to reach in, which is unsanitary.

we checked in around 7 pm ( check in time is 4 pm) and was told that one of our room not ready and the front desk didn’t know when it will be ready for us (and wanted us to checked in one room to wait for another one with no time line). After several minutes of talking I asked to talk to manager but he/she was not on duty . The front desk then called housekeeping and our room was ready with in 15 minutes. What happened if the guess didn’t complain ?
