Charleston Marriott Town Center

If going to the convention center then this place is a must stay. It is directly across the road!! The staff was great! The rooms themselves were great!!! Will definitely stay again when we go back for another concert!!!

The food was awful!!! You pay $14.99 for a breakfast that isn't even any good!!! No sausage, no gravy!!! The food was cold and dried out, what we did try to eat. Even the pancake syrup was room tempature. Really wished I would have gone to McDonald's.....for $30 I could have got alot more food and alot better food!!! PLEASE do NOT eat the food here!!!

The bar Service was terrible this is the second concert/ event that I have stayed here and the bar opens at 5 PM and if you are not they are standing in line you will not get a table and even if you do get a table it’s not likely for you to get a drink or service for 30 minutes… we stood in way to 25 minutes and wasn’t even spoken to all we wanted was a drink!!! Terrible service !

During this COVID time, I thought breakfast was for very good, kind of limited, but very good. Room was not very big, but beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was nice enough. Location is good, being in downtown. Main hall is nice. Overnight parking cost was fair. Overall, the hotel was fine for our overnight stay. I think this is one of the best hotel in Charleston, WV.

Hotel is kind of dark, but this is not a real problem. I thought the room was kind of tight for a family of 4, including the bathroom.

The front desk were great with customer service and just nice and helpful.

it needs some work, dated is all I can say, the tv need more channels, no microwave in the room, it’s sad padlocks are on balconies, and paying to park for $15 a day while others didn’t pay anything!

Location great. Easy access to 64. Walkable to restaurants downtown. Great bay and restaurant in hotel. Nice rooms. I would book here again. The negatives did not outweigh the positive

Bathroom small and a bit dated. There was food leftover in our fridge from earlier occupants. Bathroom was not fully cleaned.

Waitress at the hotel made the special adjustment for my son as he's on strict diet for surgery in a couple days. They had been amazing!

The shower head water was really rough and hard when you turn it on. I had migraines so shower didn't help because it was very hard squirt.

It was in a great location, the staff were very kind as well.

The room never really cooled off, I don’t think the fan was working in the room properly and the beds were very hard. The comforter had a spot on it as well when we arrived.

Location was perfect for going to the concert! Just a short walk across the street.

Parking was full due to an event so we had to park down the street in the city garage. There was some confusion with the parking attendant about the voucher the hotel gave us, but it wasn't a big deal.

The location was great. The room itself was very good if a little dated. Everything we needed was in the room. The bed was very comfortable and climate controls worked well.

Checking line was long and slow. Could have cross trained a second check in clerk for busy times. Hotel itself was a bit worn & dated & looked overdue for a bit of sprucing up. All appeared clean & everything worked.

The staff were incredibly nice, helpful, kind, etc. Check-in was fast and easy, and room was clean.

There aren’t as many towels as I’m used to, not a big deal - you just have to ask for more. Overall the property is a bit old and probably could use an update generally, but all the chargers, outlets, lights, appliances, etc. all work and mattress is pretty firm.
