The hotel was really clean and tidy. Right in the center of the Old Quarter, which is the more touristy area. The staff is amazing as well. I checked in at around midnight and the overnight receptionist (Minh) was extremely helpful. He recommended me all of the local, non touristy stuff to try and even took me out for lunch the day after! I’ve never had staff this friendly before, anywhere!

My only gripe is that you only get one key card which you need for electricity in the room. Because of this, when you leave, the AC turns off and all of your devices will stop charging. I didn’t ask for a second card, but I am sure they would have given me one if I needed it. So not a big issue.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and super helpful. We arrived a lot earlier than the check-in time, and they quickly arranged our room for us. The room was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed, and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was good, there was lots of choice, and the roof bar had great views of Hanoi. The location of the hotel was ideal for exploring the old quarter, and we loved sitting outside watching the world pass by. We needed to stay an extra night, which they quickly arranged for us, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend it as a base in Hanoi.

Truly a fantastic stay at Amira , the hotel is super clean , location is absolutely perfect east to walk around everywhere it’s also surprisingly quiet at night even in the weekend which is not easy in the busy old quarter. What made our stay fantastic it was the lovely staffs especially Lilly , she was amazing, super attentive and precise. I wish I had staff like this in my business!! Lilly helped us in advance to book taxis , excursions/activities all which were reasonably priced and a much better quality compared to what’s around. Amira hotel is the place to stay, don’t look for anything else! Well done everyone for running such a great hotel !!

Comfy bed in a clean and spacious room! Staff were unbelievably kind and helpful

Great location on a busy, scenic intersection in Old Quarter. The hotel looks amazing, the suite costs a bit more but gives you a beautiful, spacious room with a nice balcony. The rooftop is a big plus too, the waiter went out of his way to prepare us a snack that was not on the menu when we were having drinks. The staff are attentive without being pushy and speak English very well. Would definitely come back here!

Only small things like the TV turning on by itself when you insert the room card, a bit of a moodkiller in such a nice room. The breakfast was okay, the last morning the coffee was cold unfortunately. Lastly the airports transfers are a bit pricy, better to book a Grab.

It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is in an excellent location, with everything I needed nearby. The room was very comfortable and met all my needs. The breakfast was good, with many options. It is possible to visit the most interesting tourist attractions on foot. I did this. The staff is worthy of praise. Lily welcomed me and treated me in an unforgettable way. Very kind, courteous and helpful. I could notice she works with passion.

The room does not have a window, but this did not compromise my stay. It is cheaper. This was my choice, but there are rooms with a balcony.

The hotel has an amazing location. It is right in the old town but on a street that is calm and not noisy in the night. Basically perfect location. The staff was amazing. Very helpful. They even managed to arrange a shipment of things that we forgot. Really nice. As well they are helpful with offering tours. They as well were very nice to allow us to keep our bags with them while we had 3 days activities out of Hanoi. The room was clean and very cozy. We had a higher floor and great view. Really nice hotel overall and if the breakfast place would have windows, it would have been even more amazing

We had one of the rooms with a balcony which are located at the front of the property. The room size was excellent. Upon arrival you are greeted with a beautiful decorated reception, lovely scent and happy smiles. Check-in was straightforward and the room was awesome. Spacious, comfy, clean and well decorated. Everyone was very professional and clean. Breakfast was good with decent amount of options - albeit in a smaller room. It had all you need. Cocktail at the skybar overlooking Hanoi was a great experience for us. The cocktails, albeit a bit pricy, were tasty and the views were great. Lily the concierge was super friendly and helpful in recommending to us what to see and do. Overall Amira is a great hotel that immediately felt like a home and retreat from the hustle and bustle right on your door step. Would highly recommend it.

We had a top floor room with a balcony. It had such an amazing view. The room was spacious and light. Breakfast was good too. Not a huge choice but enough for us. They made me a cheese omelette every day. The front desk staff were superb and we booked a coupe of tours through the travel desk room and equally as nice and helpful

Being on the top floor of bedrooms there was a roof bar above us and when they moved the chairs the noise in our room was pretty awful. Also the roof bar is rundown and not appealing at all and neither was the bar man on our first night. Obviously it’s no smoking in the hotel but he sat at the top of the stairs smoking and it came all through our floor. He wasn’t welcoming at all and he then stated to clean a light bulb which was on the floor by stamping on it first and then sweeping up the glass, unprofessional and dangerous so we left. Shame as it could be a lovely place to spend the evening watching the sun go down.

It’s easy to explore the city on foot from here. Friendly Staff: The staff was welcoming and attentive. They went out of their way to recommend local attractions and restaurants and were always ready to assist with any requests. Comfortable Rooms: I stayed in a spacious, clean, and well-maintained room. The bed was comfy, and the room had all the necessary amenities, including a mini fridge, air conditioning, and a safe. Good Breakfast: The breakfast spread was a highlight, offering a variety of both local and Western options. The food was fresh and tasty, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. Cons: Shower Setup: The main downside of my stay was the shower. The bathroom had a somewhat awkward layout, and the shower was over the bathtub with no clear separation from the rest of the bathroom. This made the floor slippery after a shower, and there wasn’t a good way to prevent water from splashing onto the floor. It wasn’t a dealbreaker but something that could be improved for added comfort. Overall: The Amira Hotel Hanoi is a great choice if you’re looking for a reasonably priced, well-located hotel with friendly service and good amenities. While the shower setup could use some work, the rest of the stay was comfortable, and I’d recommend it to others visiting Hanoi.
