The stay here with my family was one of the best that I have had in Hanoi for a long time. The room size was far bigger than what I expected (and such size in Hanoi Old Quarters is a luxury). Ms Mai and her exceptional service and master guide to plan a family getaway from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi was superb and I have nothing at all to complain about. Look for her when you want to book your tours as she gives great rates for the tours arranged and her travel guides are the best. Mr Tim Tam was exceptional!!!

No breakfast served but you can get them around the hotel. The Banh Mi place right next door is one of the best in town.

Size of our room was very spacious for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens) with everyone a bed space to sleep on (2 double beds and 1 single). Hot water and water pressure was good and we're here in Dec when it's cold. Clean rooms. Ample wardrobe space. Very value for money with good location. Walking distance to local eateries and nearby attractions (water puppet theatre and temple on lake). Wifi is not bad my teens rated it 3/5 (they played online games, husband watched World Cup on our tablet but it was a bit laggy at times). Staff are friendly and helpful.

TV only screened local channels but didn't have time to watch TV as we were out most of the time. There was construction going on next door occasionally during 8am-5pm. So if you are planning to come back for an afternoon nap then you may want to reconsider.

Amazing location in old quarter where all the action is. Highly-rated eateries and all kinds of shops all around. Also close to the French Quarter and Hoan Kiem lake. Safe. Centrality is hard to beat! Staff are also extremely friendly, checking in on us from before we arrived as well as every single day. They gave us great recommendations of tours and food. Room was cleaned and water replenished every day!

Pictures looked better, our room in real life looked duller and was not as spacious as portrayed. Some spots in the room were dusty as well and bedding felt a bit grimy.

Very helpful and friendly staff - Mai is fantastic. Great location for time on Hanoi. Great hotel for booking excursions and trips out side of Hanoi. Staff helped us with providing free breakfast on mornings that we had trips leaving the hotel early. When upgraded for free on one night, the room with balcony that we stayed in was lovely.

Cheaper rate rooms outdated and safe didn’t work. The room looks onto reception and the light from reception shines through and noise comes in. But when upgraded to a room with balcony, this was a lot nicer!! Likewise breakfast seating area isn’t the nicest of settings but plenty of places on the doorstep / around the corner to get a meal.

Lots of things to like about this place. - The staff is extremely accommodating. Booking me a nail appt. A door opener at the front. Everyone is really nice, always smiling, wanting to help. Turning on the fan in the common area for me. Truly they go above and beyond. Real professionals. - Bed is pretty comfy. It’s almost memory foam. - Two free small waters in room - Small fridge - Spacious rooms - Cold A/C - I wouldn’t say it’s fully soundproof but pretty close. Barely heard noise.

- Laundry was much too expensive (140,000/kilo when my other hotel was 50,000/kilo) - The walls of the room are a bit dirty, they need a new paint or a good scrubbing - Might sound weird but when it’s soooooo hot and no pool, I needed a cold shower and it was virtually impossible to get it cold - I do think this is typical in Vietnam but I should be able to have the A/C on all day and come back to a cold room. Kind of a bummer I couldn’t but it does get cold quickly

The staff was phenomenal. The front desk staff went to get dinner for us. The kitchen chef - so friendly. We dined in the breakfast area, used the utensils, and washed them in the kitchen when we didn’t feel like going out. The mechanic fixed my wife’s wheelchair. Everyone went above and beyond expectations to please every member of our group. Most of all, the customer-care, Ms Mai, orchestrated every event, every excursion, for us wholeheartedly. She was available any time if the day or night to make us feel comfortable. She made it feel like there was no time zones across the globe. Thank you Ms. Mai!!! We will miss you!!!

There were bound to be little hiccups now and then. Ms. Mai took all feedbacks to heart and took care of all issues.

Extremely friendly staff in the hotel. Stayed there 3 night prior to our 18 days mountain journey and 3 nights after we returned. Location is best, 5 min walk to our motor cycle rental (Style Cycles) and right in the heart of old Hoa Kiem with loads of restaurants, bars etc. Nevertheless, the hotel is quiet and you hear no street noise. The house is approx. from 1970ish but modernised, with elevator, newly fitted bathrooms and very comfy beds. I was traveling with my son, we preferred 2-bed rooms which are in the middle of the hotel with no real windows. Street front with huge Windows is only double beds (queen sized). Hotel offers good service like pick-up and airport return at reasonable prices. Would always come back to this nice, calm place!

You won’t regret staying in this hotel! We were positively surprised with how clean the hotel room was, how good the location is and how we got everything for such a good price. I cannot say enough about the staff, they helped us with every struggle we had! First they upgraded our room, then they helped us when we were worried about our tour agency scamming us, offering to call them and stood beside us and the last & most previous thing they did for us was letting us shower in the hotel at 9pm, 10 hours later from checking out of our room. Thank you Amorita Boutique Hotel again! For such a lovely stay in Hanoi!

Beds were a bit harder than we like it - that is all.

The ladies at reception were the most amazing and helpful reception staff ever, they even called my next hotel for me to ensure they had my booking and knew when to expect us. The room was suitable and we were given a free upgrade upon arrival.

Lack of fire escape. The first room we were given had a balcony that was completely barred in so there would be no route out if a fire occurred. That being said I asked if it would be possible to move and the girls at reception gave us a room as close to the ground floor as possible to ensure we were comfortable.
