My husband and I have been traveling around Vietnam for the past 2 months and this homestay was by far our favorite. The hosts, Duong and Van, are so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very clean, they cooked us an amazing breakfast everyday and even brought us a tea kettle when we asked for one. The location is 10 minute walk to Old Town, which was perfect to stay away from crowds and noise. We ended up getting sick and needing to extend 5 extra days so we could rest and heal. They took such good care of us during this time and always made sure we had everything we needed. They even made us tea late one night when we were still sick. We would 100% recommend this place to anyone in Hoi An. Thank you Duong and Van! -Abbie and Jairus

Lovely welcome with homemade lemonade The hosts are amazing, help with everything from recommendations for custom clothes, tours, onward travel, laundry etc. but they go the extra mile. I was brought to my bus so I didn’t have to walk with my bags and it was a walkable distance. I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in two months Lovely made to order breakfast and lots of items to choose from It’s quiet but close to everything They cleaned my room after 2 nights…fresh towels etc The free bikes are great to use for going to the beach The puppy!

Absolutely nothing

This is a lovely place to stay. After a great value and smooth airport transfer we were greeted with a homemade lemonade and got to play with the two-month-old puppy 🥰. Duong talked us through the places to get the best local food (and where to avoid!) and then left us to our room, which was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. Duong also organised a tour for us as well as bus tickets to Huê, all for a lot less money than we were looking at online - it was great to be able to whatsapp him while we were out if we had any questions. He even went out to get us bahn mi for our onward journey (which were so delicious). All in all a lovely welcoming experience where we were made to feel so at home.

Duong and his wife Van were two of the kindest, most genuine people you could ever hope to meet. Their homestay is very quiet, super clean and the bed was one of the comfiest I've slept in. Duong speaks great English, the breakfasts are fabulous, their dog is adorable, and honestly this one of the best places I've stayed during my whole trip. I never normally write reviews because god knows life is short & hard enough, but I really wanted to make people aware of this place, so: if you want somewhere uber safe, calm & comfortable to stay in Hoi An, staffed by really lovely, gentle people for whom nothing is too much trouble, and you like sleeping in comfortable beds, then you should book a room here immediately.

We stayed at Blue Clouds (May Xanh) homestay for 3 nights. Duong is a very friendly person, who speaks English on a pretty good level - contact was really easy and clear. He gave some good recommendations for breakfast and lunch in the village. The location is good, with just a five minute walk to the (very) touristic center. We used the bicycles for a round trip, to the beach and through rice fields.

Breakfast has a lot of options, but some meals need to be ordered in advance (15 to 30 minutes). We didn't mind too much, but it's good to know.

Absolutely loved it here! Felt like home, will always recommend to anyone going to Hoi An. Owners are lovely and their dog is adorable! Really helpful with everything and happy to answer any questions and will give you their WhatsApp to message if you need anything which is super helpful!

The welcome from the owner and his wife was wonderful, and even their little dog Rum was happy to see us. They took time to show us on the map some of the best spots for food, and what to see during our stay. The room was cooled down for us on arrival, the bed was very comfortable and it was spotless clean. We had a wonderful stay, with genuine , warm and friendly hosts. Lots of fun also with their dog Rum, who is adorable. Its a easy stroll to all the attractions in Hoi An old city. Highly reccomend a stay here. Truly wonderful.

the property was very clean the owner was very informative and helpful couldn’t meet nicer people the property was very quite but very close to the old town walked in 5 minutes there were also free bikes to use. couldn’t have been better for a budget stay. Highly recommended

The Homestay is located in an alleyway tucked away from the jam packed tourist area. It’s conveniently located to just about everything you’d want to do and see in the area. Go by foot or rent a motorbike for 150k dong per day. You can see so so much by motorbike. Host could not be more helpful and responsive.

Had a great stay at Blue Clouds Homestay with the lovely Duong, Van and the little dog Rum. They were so helpful and provided recommendations around the city and provided a bike to use for free which I rode to the beach. The place is located in a nice quiet alley way with friendly neighbours, the room was clean and the bed was comfy. I wish I could have stayed longer!
