Hoi An Heart is an eco friendly family run hotel few minutes walking to the old town and the riverside. I stayed 3 days with my husband, in a balcony room which was bright and spacious with modern decoration. Both room and the building was spotless clean. Overall the hotel is just like as it is in the photos. What we dont see in the pictures is the friendly, enthusiastic and very helpful staff. Both hosteses in the morning and the evening treated us like family friends. The breakfast was wonderful and the cold tea served anytime was excellent. The owner has really put his heart in his business, i wish him the best and hope to come back some time.

Hoi An Heart Lodge felt like a home away from home. The staff made this the most wonderful accomodation of our Vietnam trip. They are friendly, warm and accomodating and go out of their way to make your stay perfect including early check in and later check out, recommendations on local restaurants, stores and activities, helped us doing our clothes washing, they booked our cooking class which was great, offered cheaper transport options and generally having a chat each day when they serve their delicious breakfast. Facilities were perfect, clean and the room was spacious. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning. Good wifi and filtered drinking water available so we could refill our bottles. Awesome place, highly recommend anyone to stay.

My best stay in Vietnam. Simply put.😀 The staff are great and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay with good advice and are happy to reserve taxis etc at your request. It is run as an eco friendly establishment, not just words, they actually do care! Great bed, lovely and clean room, nice view and a modern up to date bathroom, best i have seen in my travels in this part of the world. They also have a great restaurant by the river where you will have a discount on your bill if you eat there. And important for some. a quiet location and 5 minutes walk to the old town by the river.

I am traveling solo and had a loft room. It was very spacious, extremely comfortable, spotless and just plain gorgeous. I remember my reaction when seeing the entire facility was, "It's beautiful!" I only stayed one night at Hoi An Heart Lodge but wish I had booked more time at this homestay. There are water filters (I believe on each floor) so there is no need to buy water (i.e., plastic bottles). There is a lift for luggage which is very easy to operate and much appreciated! I had a sunrise tour for my one morning there, leaving at 5:30am so unfortunately I was unable to enjoy the breakfast. The staff at Hoi An Heart Lodge are so kind, friendly, warm and inviting. Exceptional hospitality and helpfulness which was evident right away, even when I made the booking online. Mathew was very responsive when I had some questions about logistics during my trip planning. Everyone else there was also so helpful and gentle for my entire stay but I especially enjoyed my time with Kieu. After a long day of sightseeing and exploring the Old Quarter on foot, I arrived back at Hoi An Heart Lodge in the early evening. She and I sat together and had a lovely conversation for a good 20 minutes. It was as if I was catching up with an old friend. If not for my sunrise tour the next morning, I would have stayed even longer. I stored my luggage there while on the tour, very secure and no problem at all! Thank you so much to Mathew, Kieu and everyone at Hoi An Heart Lodge. The love and hard work that you put into your homestay, as well as your kindness, made my stay at Hoi An Heart Lodge very memorable albeit short. I had one of the most restful nights sleeping in my 2 months of travel in Southeast Asia. I hope to see you again some day, and for a longer visit!

Located in a peaceful neighborhood but at the same time near all attractions, Heart Lodge was a great place to stay at Hoi An. We felt warmly welcomed from the moment we stepped foot in this lovely homestay - Ven, Matt and all their family members always greeted us with a big smile and genuine interest in our travel plans. They also helped us to have our laundry done and fixed us an affordable transport to our next destination. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed to spend some time on our little balcony. Breakfast was also great, Venn fixed us a delicious and nutritious start for the day! Wishing all the best for our amazing hosts at Heart Lodge and a warm recommendation for their beautiful homestay in Hoi An!

The staff/family are absolutely incredible!!! I would give it a 10/10 if based on just them. They were so welcoming and lovely and really made an effort to know you on a personal level and make you feel like a part of the family. Location was fantastic, bathrooms/rooms in general were nice & clean (with the exception below), breakfast was delicious and plentiful every morning. Rooms are a bit cosy but have all that you need.

I found the mattress extremely firm (I normally like a firm mattress) and would wake up with a sore back. I am a bigger person so might not be an issue for others. The bed is made with just a sheet and when we opened the duvet from the box it was full of old yellow urine stains. To be fair if no guests mention it they may not know?

Heart Lodge Hoi An is in a fantastic and convenient location. I had to change dates and Mat was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We were greeted on arrival with a (secret recipe 😉) tea from Viet who gave us a thorough run-down of our accommodation and recommended places and activities in Hoi An. We soon also met Mat the owner who was helpful, funny, and a great host. We felt right at home and welcomed immediately. Our room was big and clean with a balcony. Roomy separate bathroom. The bed (King) was so comfortable! We had the best sleeps after long days of touring Hoi An. They have a good breakfast choice (more free tea - We want the recipe!) consisting of a selection of delicious food, juice & coffee. All Viet's suggestions around Hoi An were spot on! It was fantastic to have free use of bikes at our disposal to get around. We had an amazing time and highly recommend Heart Lodge Hoi An. We'll definitely be back ourselves one day. Thank you Mat, Viet, and family for having us.

Family-run hotel, located very close to the old town - only a few minutes walk. It was enough to not hear the typical noise of thousands of tourists and the hustle and bustle of the city. Room spacious enough for 2 people and with a balcony and spacious bathroom. Small pool was not open yet but it was a matter of the season. Free bikes for rent on site. Very helpful people, we got a map with a list of where to go, what to see, etc. The best breakfast we had in Vietnam - in my opinion it was super served and even better looking and tasty. The owner prepared it herself together with her sister. Plus of course easy communication in English.

The management (owners)at the hotel are friendly and very accommodating. They are always willing to help and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Their breakfasts are amazing and their extra measures to be eco friendly are refreshing. The hotel is super clean and I liked the lift they used to take your luggage to your floor. Location is great and it is a short walk to ancient town.

What an amazing stay at this little gem. The family are so helpful, attentive and full of advice and information to make our stay in Hoi An perfect. Breakfast was so tasty and many options. I genuinely couldn't recommend this place enough, it felt like we were part of the family with how well we were looked after. If you're ever looking for someone in Hoi An to stay that's a 5 minute walk from the ancient centre, a bike to use for £4 a day, excellent breakfast choices, for a cheap price, this is exactly where you want to be!
