Room has been refurbished and updated since the last time we were here in 2019. Room was in good condition on arrival and comfortable. Reception was also very quick to send maintenance when the lights in our room went out.

I dont like this lady who taking care of those coming for breakfast.I approach the cafe for morning breakfast I dont know that we have to que to get our table.I understand.But this indian lady who show us the table.She was very rough and dont greet people nicely.She want us to que and wait for our table but she can say nicely.Working in a hotel you guys must good when approach customer i dont know her name.But please in future do train your restaurant staff to be nice with guest.especially those who is standing infront of the restaurant.i will not come again here for sure because of her,my mood gone the whole day.Other that everything is ok.your waitress and other staff all good

Cititel Mid-Valley has been around as long as the Mid-Valley mall. I can see that it's done a decent job in preventing the hotel looking tired and old. I have stayed in this hotel twice before, in years prior to Covid. The location next to a huge mall will continue to attract many stayers who are game for shopping, and great eating in many food establishments in the mall. It's also next to office complexes such as the Ecocity. Although the traffic is always quite heavy around the mid-valley area, the hotel's location is still it's best asset.

I was allocated a room on the 7th floor, which corridors probably had just received some sort of renewal, because it was reeking with glue and varnish smell. Fortunately the smell did not permeate to the room. The sofas in the lobby have noticeable spots of stains on the fabric surface.

Location of the hotel is excellent, very near to the shopping mall and also not far from other shopping mall e.g Pavellion, Ikea, Sugo, Jalan TAR famous night market. and other more. Everyday breakfast is excellent.

Bring down Hotel transport/taxi to a reasonable price. The fare is very very very expensive. We better get grab. If it is reasonable price we can easily make use of the hotel transport/txi.

The breakfast spread which includes drinks and food was very good. Although the room for 2 is small, we are very pleased with the cleaning service. The room is exceptionally clean esp the toilets. The front desk staff (esp Nurul) room service, room cleaning service, concierge and F&N are very helpful and friendly. They have good initiative and are prompt to serve the hotel guests. Thank you!

The reception at check-in and check-out.The porter was very helpful and supportive with our luggage etc. After check out we left our luggage for storage until we left a few hours later with booked Grab car. The porter was very helpful and supportive.

Alternate days room cleaning I felt that we checked in day 1 and the next day they would not do room cleaning then on check out day is their room cleaning day but we had already packed and ready for check out at 12 noon. So I recommend that they do every day room cleaning now that it is post covid pandemic and SOP are now minimal with wearing of masks only.But we should observe all protective measures in order to prevent prevention and wash our hands etc.

1. No temp control for mini fridge. 2. Mini fridge was not properly cleaned - drink spillage stains on glass shelf n watermarks on door shelves. 2. Room lighting was either too dim or too bright. 3. Too many local channels on TV. 4. NO dustbins at all in the Lobby! WHY??? 5. Humming from the central air-conditioning too loud.

Perfect location and a very efficient Housekeeping Department. Thumbs up.

My only complaint is that there was no electrical port in the toilet to plug in the hairdryer, so that we can dry our hair in front of a mirror. There are no mirrors at all near all the electrical ports in the room. My room was a little noisy as it faced the expressway. Otherwise all else is ok. Highly recommend this hotel. BEST HOTEL TO STAY IN MID VALLEY. LOOK NO FURTHER!!

The location is in one of the bigger malls in KL, midvalley mall. The carpark in the basement is linked to the offices and malls so you will be sheltered if it's raining. The price is alot cheaper compared to the one near garden's mall. Wifi is stable and could do work in the room.

Didn't had amenities in the bathroom, but they replenish it the next day.

Miss Kalai at check in counter was so kind, helpful and accomodating. We arrived on an early flight into KL and got to the hotel at about 10.45am. I was only intending to leave luggage as it was way too early for check in time. Miss Kalai not only generously accommodate us for early check in, she also recommended the excellent Nasi Biryani Bamboo available for lunch at their coffee house. The food was excellent, value for money (we could not finish half the portion!) And absolutely delicious! The masala tea was excellent and coffee house staff Lecumi deserves a special mention.. She packed our excess lunch portion and told us to bring it down to reheat when we were ready to eat it! She even told informed her staff to attend to us if she was not around. Such excellent service from Kalai & Lecumi.. we feel so warmed and welcomed and will definitely be back.

Nothing. The room size was small but you could always book a bigger room for a bit more. We were fairly small sized with no large luggage, so the standard twin room suited is fine. Being attached to mid valley shopping centre was a great plus! No need to call taxi or battle traffic for a night out or for meals. Lots to eat and shop.
