Omg. The complimentary breakfast was beyond expectations. It was my husbands only request that we go somewhere that offered free breakfast. He loved it. It was a full breakfast buffet and changed each day. He loved it. I was so happy with the different offerings and amount. Thank you

Took our dog and got charged an extra $25 Not too bad but not thrilled about it

Love this hotel, location is perfect for dogs has great park like setting with tables and gazebos only wish that we could have checked in sooner our room wasn't ready until after 4 and we requested early check in but they said they were short staffed on house keeping ..other than that stay was great!

Breakfast was good, I'm not a big morning eater but always find something good. Honestly I come to Arcata several times a year to visit with my college student. I prefer Best Western because the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are usually quiet

There were a few sketchy homeless people walking around and I felt uneasy walking across for food and morning coffee

Quiet and away from the road. Comfortable bed. Fridge and microwave in room. There was a large grassy area with picnic tables for relaxing outside. Friendly, helpful staff. Indoor pool. Very good hot breakfast: eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, muffins bread bagels, cheese and cereals.

Spot worked great for my family visiting Cal Poly. Breakfast was better than expected. Nice clean, comfy rooms. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub but looked good too. Dinner at Aztecs Mexican place across the way was good too. All around a great stay

TV options and ability to stream my paid accounts (ie: Netflix, HBO, etc)

Great breakfast buffet with a super clean and neat dining room and food area. The walls must be super thick because the highway was right behind the hotel but I heard very little freeway noise. I like that my room had a fridge, microwave, ironing board, coffee maker and hair dryer. Staff were very helpful if you needed anything. The hotel accommodated me with a downstairs room so my elderly dog could get to the pet area easily.

It's not the hotel's fault and I know people have to sometimes get up early to get on the road, but I was on the ground floor and the person above me got up at 5AM, walked like an elephant and made a lot of noise getting ready to leave

The location was very convenient for our travel purpose of visiting the university. It was near the freeway with close proximity to downtown and the campus.

We had two rooms. One unfortunately smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and it was a non-smoking property.

Loved the breakfast. Best hotel in area to overnight with a dog as they have a huge yard to walk around in.

Towel rack fell off wall when trying to remove towel for shower. Not sure if towels on rack were to heavy or screws into wall were just into sheetrock, not any anchor surface.

The shower was great, excellent water pressure. Very attractive room, nice touches. The bed was super comfy. It was very quiet compared to staying right in town. The location was close to the freeway and a shopping center is right across the street. Very secure.

A little on the high side for price. It seemed to be on par though with other places in the area.

Pool and spa were closed. Details in room weren’t clean. Area didn’t feel safe. Pillows were WAY to big.
