The pictures of I love Lucy and others. Good breakfast choices. The facility looked really nice. The bar area at the pool was nice and there were mist area around it to keep you cool. A.C in the room worked really good. There was refresh water in the lobby with fruits and cucumbers. Front desk was nice and helpful. The bar food was good the India well club sandwich was wonderful! The lady that worked in the gift stop was so nice and recommended us places to eat.

Our bed was really uncomfortable it felt like it was leaning the whole night. We we’re too tied to ask for a room change.

The staff was amazing the property was very clean and the kids like the pool.

check in its at 4pm and check out it’s at 11am which I don’t think it’s fair paying $200 a night you don’t even get a full 24 hour stay, you can check in earlier but they charge you a $15 dolar early fee which it’s not fair they really need to change that.

Room and Bed

With the price of my hotel room, I wished the basic breakfast could have at least served some scrambled eggs, bacon or ham, without having to pay ($13.95) additionally.

It's a clean hotel with a friendly, helpful staff and all the basics in terms of amenities. There's also a free Level 2 EV charger in the lot with 2 spots. For the area, it's a great value as a resort stay.

Be aware the mattresses are old. I'm only in my 30s but even I woke up like "That could've been a better sleep." Not the fault of the hotel, but the area has little in the way of dining -- and the ones there aren't great value (LA price, desert quality) -- and nothing is walkable. You'll likely want to go a few minutes up the road to Palm Springs. Last tiny thing if you're with kids or just want TV for yourself, the TV has a bizarre senior citizen remote so you can't switch input to a Fire stick or Roku stick (or Chromecast/AppleTV). Bring a laptop/tablet.

The entertainment Wed and Thurs night was very good. The hair dryer in my room was broken and replaced right away. The breakfast was good with variety. The front desk staff was professional and efficient.

I don't like the fact that you can't check in until 4PM but yet are expected to vacate by 11 AM. It's like you aren't getting what you pay for which is a per day fee. To me, a day consists of 24 hours. I also don't agree with the $45 resort fee. That is rather steep for us who don't need or use the amenities like golf, pool, gym etc. Then we get dinged another $18 for parking. That should be included in the $45. When I booked, it said city view. My view was of the roof with a sliver of the Hwy 111.

The location was ideal and the setting nestled against the hills was great. Loved the nostalgic photos of Lucy and Desi as well as other stars and visitors of that era. The off-season room rate was fantastic (but offset by exorbitant resort and parking fees). The room was beautiful, spacious, quiet, clean, and comfortable but there seemed to be an abundance of outlet lights and light leaking through the door from the well-lit hallway. Furnishings were in excellent shape and the patio (with a golf course view and patio furniture) was a nice touch. The breakfast was solid...with cereal choices, assorted breads and pastries and juices...plus waffles...and was served in a dining room replete with music and photos of stars from the era and pool area views

The air conditioning was potent but there was no setting (other than Off) that avoided the constant on and off during the night, whether the fan was on Constant or Auto. When on, it sounded a bit like a truck or motorcycle idling in the corner of the room. We stayed at the resort once before and had to change rooms due to the air conditioner noise. And the bed closest to the AC gets a cool blast all night since there is no way to adjust the unit's louvers (that I could find). We weren't crazy about having to pay $18 to park in a largely vacant parking lot or a $45 resort fee for amenities we didn't use but, when added to the really low summer nightly rate, the total was less than most lodging offerings in the area of far lesser quality.

The value for the room could not be beat for a Palm Springs/ Indian Wells location. The center courtyard with pool was lovely--very well-kept and landscaped. The decor is rather "old school" but still very elegant and well-maintained.

The added charge for self-parking was not advertised in the posting through Booking,com so was rather a surprise when I checked out. Free breakfast was sufficient but not the widest selection--hot oatmeal and one could make toast, bagel or toasted waffle, but otherwise a continental breakfast of breads, pastries, juice & coffee with apples and bananas.

The hotel exceeded my expectation. A+ to everything from the receptionist who had great customer service. We were there for a dance competition which had us arrive earlier than the check in time ( not a problem ) we were checked in. The room was clean and the view was amazing The hotel even provided us with transportation to and from our dance competition location WHATTTTT. The pool was beautiful. They even had pool side service Already planning next visit.... just because

The breakfast was not what I was hoping for it was deluxe continental breakfast ....... no scrambled eggs or bacon , sausage but you could order it

IWR is a beautiful property in a prime location. As far as value for your money, it can’t be beat. My girlfriends and I had a terrific time floating in the pool and relaxing on our patio. I highly recommend IWR.

An outdoor shower at the pool would be a nice addition.

Complimentary breakfast was great. Pool and hot tub was great.

The communication between your front desk and your shuttle service needs some serious attention. While at the The Indian Wells Tennis Garden during the Indian Wells Tournament, we phoned the front desk to request the shuttle service. We were told that there was no shuttle service today (right in the middle of the tournament). Less than a minute later, the shuttle shows up at the Tennis Garden. This type of communication took place frequently with our group of friends as well. During an event like this, there should always be at least access to a hotel shuttle going too and from the Tennis Garden .
