Best Western Plus Bourbonnais Hotel & Suites

We liked how convenient it was off the highway. The rooms are great, staff was great! The disappointment was we came there because of the pool, and that was under construction or something. The gentleman at the desk helped us and gave us some of the money back, which was very appreciated.

Somehow make it easier to know when the pool is closed, also there was a fee to have a dog and I did not see that on the part of the website I looked. So Having the pet policy and that the pool is closed more clear when setting up a reservation!!!

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, breakfast staff were so friendly and welcoming. Great room sizes and comfortable

Restaurant is poor and limited with no close by alternatives. Stayed 4 nights and room was not serviced on Easter Sunday, we came back to a dirty bath and room with wet towels

The staff was very friendly and treated us well.

The first room we were in had a leaky toilet and we had to move. It was a downgrade in rooms. The new room's fridge did not work, but it was replaced quickly. There was no black out shade, we informed the staff. Therefore, we had parking lot lights illuminating our room all night.

The front desk was friendly and prompt with check in. We arrived late in the evening and check in was quick. The room smelled like fresh linens. The bathroom was spacious.

We were a family of three. The room was stocked with two bath towels, wash cloths and hand towels. One extra set would have been great.

Quite possibly one of the greatest front desk managers I've ever seen. I can't remember her name. I checked in this past Friday evening. She looked tired, overworked, overwhelmed, but she maintained her composure and patience with fellow staff and guests and still provided excellent customer service. I had to wait 15 minutes for my room to be cleaned, but she made sure I was placed in a great room. It was very clean and updated and comfortable. I was sure to thank her when I saw her at the desk the following morning.

The staff was awesome! The breakfast was great! We enjoyed the pool.

I had to ask them to clean the fridge. There was some teens in the room next to me and about 4am, there was a parent screaming and cursing loudly. It woke us up, we were nervous as to what was going on.

The room, & the overall building was very clean, comfortable & spacious that includes the bed. The staff was very helpful, hospitable & very nice to everyone. Check-in & checkout was very easy & fast.

The only dislike was that the pool areas was closed for maintenance. They didnt have any other breakfast meat options other than pork. All of their soaps, shampoos, conditioners & lotions I personally couldn't use due to a citrus allergy, so I did have to go buy my own & use.

Clean modern bathrooms. Lacked room lighting, there was no light/lamp by the desk. Morning breakfast was more than expected and warm.

No parking for vehicles pulling a trailer. We had to park across the road at the nearly vacant mall. There were signs saying no overnight parking but check in staff said to park there.

It was easy to book, the previous time we were there the staff was friendly. The pool was okay, and they allow dogs.

My daughter and I stayed here Friday night, checked out Saturday morning, and realized Saturday night we had left a coat behind. We called 5 times in 12 hours trying to get someone from the hotel to get my coat out of the closet in the room we had stayed in. Everytime we called we got, "we didn't see it" "it's not in our lost a found" we live almost 6 hours away and didn't want to leave town without it. It wasn't until I mentioned filing a police report for theft (of my coat) that we finally got a call back from someone saying they found it.

It wasn’t well vacuumed and there was a red stain on the carpet. Made me wonder when they were cleaned last. Hubby said breakfast was terrible. I didn’t eat it. I also did not like the Edison light fixtures. I know they’re in style but too intense for a bedroom. Also needed an ice machine on the main floor!
