Smiles Stone Town Hotel was superb! Our group particularly appreciated the interactions with the staff, particularly Ali from the front desk. Everybody had a smile and was ready to help with our thousand questions. They were also willing to hold our bags when we went on a short visit to another part of the island for a few days. I would highly recommend this place.

There wasn't really anything we did not like but a note on the location: The hotel is located in front of the port, which is one of the busiest parts of Stone Town. This was not a problem for our group, but it might for others. I would personally book Smiles again without hesitation.

the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! they were also quick to re/act with ouir requests. the room was clean and comfy. they even served us breakfast 1 hour earlier, because we had to rush to catch ferry! that was exceptionally helpful and nice! highly recommended!

as it is v close to port, the nights are not exactly peaceful. else, the position is perfect for ferry-passengers and all the life of old town is within walking distance.

the hotel is a nicely renovated building and has a great atmosphere. the rooms were clean and equipped with everything. the staff was helpful as well, helping us to arrange some activities

as it’s just next to the harbor, the rooms are very noisy, and busy during the whole day. beds are quite small, so are the bathrooms. the breakfast area somehow only has 3 tables, and the food selection was really poor compared to elsewhere on the island or the mainland.

Early check-in, our flight arrived in the early morning and we were able to get our room a freshen up for the day. Friendly staff Just a few 100m from a lovely seafront restaurant, and from where the boat trips depart

Stonetown infrastructure and historic building mean by intention that the hotels in old Town are not modern.

the property was very clean and the staff are very helpful and kind and would recommend this place to everyone ! the manager is also one of a kind may he be blessed with more the hotel is next to the ferry port which is also very efficient as you do not need to take a taxi or any form of transport

Thank you for a very warm welcoming stay! I was a solo female traveler here and Smiles Hotel went above and beyond with exceptional service and friendly staff. Extremely clean and spacious rooms the staff did a great job at cleanliness everyday a very comfortable atmosphere and great breakfast! 10/10 recommend staying here! i’ll definitely be back! 🙂
