Superb waiting and catering staff especially in the restaurant/bar and around the pool area. Everyone was very friendly and enthusiastic. Small but perfectly formed menu offers decent food at reasonable prices. Lovely clean rooftop pool with a view. Modern, comfortable rooms. Great beds and showers. Cable TV with English language news channels.
It's a new hotel so there were a few teething problems (remedied by the end of our stay). Good balcony but no balcony furniture. The location isn't ideal for tourists hoping to walk to sights and restaurants but is fine if you're happy taking taxis and handy for the airport. You will probably be using one of the frequent taxis if you go to Cartagena in the evening/at night (15000-20000 KOP). However, we did walk along the beach to Cartagena in the daytime and that was manageable and seemed safe.

Please be careful with what you are booking as a tour to island. We've booked through the business located in the hotel's lobby one day tour to LUXURY Club. Horrible results - we've got very sick from some kind of water poisoning in this resort. We need doctor, hotel didn't care, lady who sold us this tour didn't care. 3 days took us to recover. Horrible experience.

The hotel staff organised a birthday gift for my wife. Rosa also repaired my wife’s dress . thank you as well to Camilo , karen ,Oneida and the guys at the desk. thank you very much. very good time.

The room that we stayed in didn’t have couches to sit on though that’s what the pictures showed. The bathroom is uncomfortable due to how the door opens.
