Oasis Palm - All Inclusive

The hotel in general was good. Staff was very friendly and respectful. This is a hotel for families with children. They have plenty of activities and facilities for kids including a Jurassic theme park. Food is really good. They have a restaurant called Maki Taco and it's SUBLIME! must do if you are in Cancun.

Hotel staff never answered my messages via Booking.com prior arrival. I was not able to arrange a Shuttle service (even with additional charge). I needed to take a taxi from airport and they over charged me (Xelbor Cab avoid using them). Long queues to get drinks and food (especially for kids). I didn't like the fact that Marine Army, Mexican National Guard and Police were around during my stay due to a shooting episode that happened in the hotel next door on December 7th 2021. It was an awful day and my family and I felt threatened.

I was asking them to refund one person since one person got their foot broke on an Excursion they offered and what language barrier they didn't understand we pay for extra going to the motel next door the grand you know she's never been able to even leave the room we pay for the island she wasn't able to leave the room and those are excursions at the motels offering

One of us got hurt on the Excursion so we were in the room the whole time and we didn't get any refunds for the Excursion or anything that we paid for in advance which was totally disappointing and with the language barrier and they didn't understand is a Excursion they offered

I managed to get a Genius promotion/discount, so the price ended up being excellent considering it is an all inclusive, and many hotels that didn't even offer breakfast were more expensive than this. Not sure I would have the same opinion had I paid full price. If you are planning to stay in the hotel and do nothing else, you should consider other options, if it is just a place where you eat, sleep and rest after adventuring, then I definitely recommend it. Wifi was good. Staff were helpfull.

Standard is Mocktail, you've gotta ask for alcohol if you want it, There is no real fruit in the Cocktail/Mocktail, only industrialized syrups The rooms need an up do and so do the pillows, they stink No Frigobar No water in the rooms Not enough shampoo replenishing, specially if you are a family There are queues to reserve restaurants or, depending on the time, for the buffet as well. Restaurant times are weird, and they are closed between 4 and 6, so no much food around when you get back hungry from a day out, If you want to enjoy the Caribbean sea, this is by far NOT the most beautiful beach, They may have enough staff over the weekend, but from Tuesday rooms get cleaned up after 5pm Swimming pool was closed all day because of chlorine excess (??) Gym needs aircon

Location was great but the fact is that we didn’t appreciate the 2 restaurants required reservation in person and make a line. It should be open like the others location. Especially if a family has any tours there’s no way any reservations can be done.

Restaurant should be open without reservation. Not to force to make a line before 4pm to make a reservation to try their food.

Food was really good. Pool/beach close by. Ferry to Isla mujeres is next door.

the food lines were to long and on Wed morning the breakfast line was absolutely too long you guys need to open up another restaurant so that the lines are not to long.

The resort was amazing! They had lots of restaurants, really good food, and a coffee shop! The staff were really nice specially our bartender Alex. They had lots of activities for the whole family. My family really enjoyed staying at the resort!

The rooms are a little small.

Location was amazing. There were 2 fancier restaurants and then some buffets for food. I thought the food options were decent. Room was nice but smaller. But you don't go to Cancun to spend time in your room so no problem there.

Had nightly entertainment from 8-10pm which was tough with little kids since you could hear the bands from the room. But at least the bands sounded good.

I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was! There was staff stationed all over the building to help you with anything you may need. The front lobby made sure you were getting on the right shuttle for hotel transfers and any tours you may have booked. You have access to not only the beach directly in front of oasis palm but next door at the sens as well. If you have an ocean view room with the balcony the noise level was fairly high at night time- we adjusted to it just fine but if you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t get a balcony room. Overall the food was really good as well.

as advertised you can tour the caption hook ship that is permanently stationed at the dock but we were unable to do that as included in part of our stay. You had to pay for the caption hook tour that actually went on a boat ride

Travelling with young children. The facilities in the hotel are very good. Activities and shows everyday. Big variety of restaurants. Beach and pool areas well maintained and clean. Very good food. Awesome staff always friendly and helpful. Hotel is conviniently located beside the harbour where the boats depart for isla mujeres.

Although the restaurants are good and there is a lot of options, you will need to line up 1 hour before the opening of the restaurant or the time they start taking rever actions if you want to get a table. Usually for the buffets the line moves quickly if there is one
