Bentleigh Motor Inn

The hotel is located on the main road and virtually in the center of town. The check in by the owner was simple and quick and he was friendly and personable, offering us some dining options for dinner upon our check in. We found our room to be very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water in the shower. The Bentleigh is right next door to a nice hotel that served great meals.

Parking is limited on site and is not assigned to each room. There is parking available overnight on the street out front. we managed to gain a parking spot onsite, so this wasn't an issue for us.

The shower couldn't control the temp add tiny bit of cold and it slowly gets colder till it's freezing turn it down a tiny bit heats up till it burning hot. Also not being able to shut bathroom window. 1 because it was cold 2 because it makes outside noises alot louder we did close bathroom door but it kept popping open

We had a ground-floor room with easy access. It had a microwave, refrigerator, toaster, dishes, kettle, etc. Heating Free wifi and Netflix TV. Nice biscuits and plenty of milk in bottles were supplied. The room was spotlessly clean. It is very close to the returned service club CEX which you can walk too and they have superb meals at a reasonable cost.

The only drawback was the parking situation. We had evening entertainment and when we returned to our room all the parking space was gone except for one spot that was really very difficult and quite challenging. Parking was a random thing onsite so if the hotel is booked out because of rugby or some other event it pays to return to your room not too late if you want a better parking spot. Perhaps walking to your venue if it is not too cold!

The room was comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom was modern and updated. We appreciated the clean towels each day.

It would have been good to have been provided with face washers as well as the towels. Unfortunately there were some guests that also made a lot of noise later in the afternoon as well as early in the morning.

I was not expecting a single room with a bathroom as when I booked the accommodation booking.com advertised it as an apartment style accommodation with kitchen dining and lounge room so I was shocked when I arrived. My disappointment was in booking.com. Lucky for me and my family that the place was clean, the staff were friendly and the location was great for what we needed. I will not be using booking.com again however I would be happy to stay at this accommodation again in the future.

The room was very clean and modern looking. The location in torrential rain was perfect being across the road from the RSL club and very close to Dan Murphy's and food outlets. Our car was parked under cover which was essential with the bad weather.

My only criticism would be that if you were a light sleeper there were truck noises through the night as the motel is on the main road.

Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom clean and nice hot showers. Located next door to hotel for great evening meal and trivia. Off road parking. We were given a ground floor room as requested. Only downside is motel is located on main street, so is a little noisy, not good if you are a light sleeper. Ideal motel for an overnight stopover. Will stay again.

Location was, as described, next to the main road. So road noise was a background thing, that you soon got used to. Location was excellent for walking around the main part of town. A short drive to the Clog House, Big Banana, beaches, the harbour or out to Sawtell.

The water from the shower was very dangerous & very unreliable. It turned from cold to extreme hot without notice & instantly. It also happened with the cold, not dangerous but a shock to the system. I think it was happening once the adjoining room used. their water.

The double power point over desk could be replaced with another double power point with 2 USB points, at minimal cost, as no USB points in room
