Sanctuary Resort Motor Inn

Hosts were nice people, welcoming and helpful. Checkin was easy. Dinner in the restaurant was beautifully done. Grounds were also pretty. Room was clean. Decent sized vanity. Location suited our needs.

Bed was uncomfortable, very firm. Shower let water out into bathroom making floor slippery. Decor looks very tired and old fashioned. Table and recliners while a nice touch were in shabby condition.In all honesty we felt that we paid too much for the room for what it was. Signs needed in bathrooms for inconsiderate other guests. At 1am we had guests talking loudly outside room and then fire up the spa. Road noise was loud but to be expected on a Highway

The location of the hotel was very nice. In between the trees and nature. Reception was easily accessible. Staff was very good. Welcomed with smiling face. My son wanted to enjoy the pool after 8pm so on request the staff extended the time with 15 mins. I very much liked the property.

The only thing we didn't like was the location of the room because it was on the lower level of the side building hence not very much natural light. Always go for the room either on the middle level or top level on the side building. Nothing apart from this. Rest all good.

EVERYTHING! on arrival the receptionist was lovely, check in was quick and easy. The room was larger than expected, clean and comfortable. The television had Netflix which was a nice surprise. The pool and surrounding areas were beautiful, and well maintained. The kids had an absolute ball, enjoying the slide, ping pong, pool table among other activities. We rate this place very high and will absolutely be back. Next time we hope to enjoy the buffet breakfast which unfortunately was not available during our stay but the dining area was stunning!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. A beautiful, leafy setting. Clean and spacious room.

Lovely pool area if you can nab a spot, especially one of the two-day beds. The grounds are lush and rooms are adequate for a short stay. Breakfast in the grand restaurant is offered but we checked out early. There are tennis courts and a sauna but both were currently under maintenance. Beds and Linnen were comfy. Handy location.

For security as a mum travelling with kids..The gauze screen door would do with a latch lock. Only so could have fresh air (instead of aircon) at night. Having the glass sliding door open for breeze with a secured lockable gauze door is great.

Retro hotel room was cute and comfortable. Spacious and reasonably quiet room given location on Princes Highway. Bit of a walk to food venues and unfortunately council inconsistent with providing footpaths. But overall really comfortable enjoyable stay.

TV was in far away spot to be viewed by all people in the room If wanted to watch an adult show unsuitable for kids, this would be impossible. Similarly, adults stuck watching kids tv. Two smaller TV’s would be better

The chairs in the room were comfy, the room was big. The woman on the reception desk was very friendly and helpful and gave a good recommendation to visit the harbourside market which we didn't know about. There was a laundry room which we made use of and enjoyed the sun beds by the pool while waiting.

If I had to be fussy the shower floor was a bit slippy and not much to get hold of to keep my balance but not really a biggy.

Fantastic room. King Bed plus a single. Nice lounge. Plenty of room. Very comfortable bed. Same can not be said for my previous night at Central Coast Motel Wyong. What a dump and I now know never to book into a pet friendly place again. I had no pet and it stunk.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom starts with a BANG. The dining was a bit strange where you had to pre order. I cleaned up and rocked in for dinner at 6:15pm to be told no pre order therefore no dinner for me.

Stayed 5 nights. King size bed was comfortable. Room serviced daily. Continental breakfast in restaurant was good starter for the day. Even though close to main road traffic noise of a night was minimal. Stayed upstairs level. Rooms clean. Had nice pool area although weather was too cool to tempt me.

Could not fault anything. Only thing I queried was there was only one face washer but two towels for two people. Told that was the norm but they provided us with a second face washer once asked.

Large well appointed room with a balcony looking out into the forest. Whilst an older style of accommodation, it was very clean, comfortable and quiet given the fact that the Motel was elevated above and set back from the highway. Would certainly recommend for a short term stay.

Coffee machine in the restaurant was broken and the evening meal that i had was quite basic - albeit made for a price.
