Best Western Parkside Motor Inn

Great location. Just off the highway. Easy access. Carparking available. Short drive to shops/restaurants/activities. Loved the family room. Spacious and 2 of the single beds off to the main room allowing for some privacy. We had the top floor room (1st floor). The room was very clean. The property was quiet. Reasonably priced. The owners were great. Unfortunately we had a water problem before leaving home which put us about 7 hours behind our estimated arrival time. No problem the key was sorted in an out of hours collection. Suggestion- book early in holiday times as Coffs Harbour is a popular place.

Honestly I really liked the overnight stay.

Very comfortable stay at the Parkside motor inn. Some of the most comfortable bedding I've ever had at a motel, which was great because I did some long hours of shooting photography so it didn't take me long to get to sleep. We were able to park right outside.

Parking could have been an issue as people can take the spot right outside your room and you may be left with a slightly longer walk. Normally not an issue but the weather was poor so you could be unpacking/packing out in the rain rather than right next to your room. It happened to other guests next door to us.

So so clean , an older style motel though has had a revamp . We would rate this a great one to two night stay , it was clean and comfortable for us with trip from Gold Coast to Nelson Bay. We were in room no 10 at the back away from the road. The receptionist was lovely and friendly.

Parking is very narrow with some cars needing to go out in the street. Taps need new washers which we reported to management. Plumber was coming that day so would say it is now fixed.We paid $155 for 2 adults and two children though did book well in advance of arrival date.

Family friendly - 10/10 for a one night stay on a road trip . great location next to the highway to hit the road easily . Also a good place to see Coffs beaches and town while we were there. the family room has 2 bedrooms both with TV for a break from each other after a long drive.

I only say this because I have a family of 5- including 3 teenage boys; a second toilet in the family room would have been ideal. 😉

Location was really good . A few minutes from the City square . Lot of restaurants to eat . Central plaza was a 5 min walk away .

Food delivery on a Sunday night was a bit disappointing, since we were particularly looking for indian food and couldnt really find any restaurants open for delivery for the night.

Great central location yet traffic noise was not an issue at all. Close enough to walk to cafes and restaurants and The Coast Hotel just down the street was an excellent venue for dinner. Our room was perfectly clean and very well set up. Comfortable bed, good pillows and towels as well as great shower and plenty of hot water all make for an enjoyable stay. we would happily choose to stay again.

The room was tastefully renovated. The position of the aircon was excellent ( didn’t blow onto the bed). Everything was clean & check in was friendly & easy. We were able to walk to most things we needed.

We couldn’t seem to access pay to view TV 🤷‍♀️ Could have done with an exhaust fan in the bathroom.

The reception lady was amazing. Her excellent customer service went way above and beyond. We accidentally booked 2022 instead of 2021 and it wasn’t an issue with her changing it straight away. We were also there very early and an early check was easily granted. My partner and I both had a vehicle so we asked for an extra car spot which we received and was no problem at all. We received excellent customer service at this motor inn which has been better then at expensive hotels. This accomodation is good value, clean, close to shops, restaurants, etc. and I would definitely recommend it.

The room was refurbished since we last stayed. The bed and pillows were super soft. The shower was amazing after a long day travelling. The lady at reception was super understanding and so friendly. The area was so quite. We were very comfortable and had a nice refreshing sleep.

Having to leave and travel more

Everything. l always feel safe within this motel, it's close to all attractions, shops,beaches. Location is amazing along with all the staff. Have stayed here many times and always try to make a booking at this motel if l need accommodation. Keep up the fantastic work and l very much look forward to staying again.
