Sandcastles Holiday Apartments

The accommodation was brilliant. It is very well designed, so that our apartment had a door directly to the courtyard and pool area. It was extremely comfortable and the location is awesome, a minutes walk to Park Beach. The pool and spa are well maintained (and heated!). Incredible value for money - this was the cheapest I could find in Coffs but was worth twice the amount we paid. Staff very helpful.

Nit picking really - only a few sheets of toilet paper, washing up detergent was minimal, no washing up cloths (instead scrubbers were provided). WIth a little bit more attention to detail this accommodation would be 10/10.

There are a few things but please this is no reflection on the staff or the apartments, they offer free wifi 1GB per day 3rd floor no lift with a toddler Air con didn't seem to work wife was cold As a smoker if you read the book that's in the room it says no smoking anywhere on premises but the paperwork they gave us said smoking was allowed on the balcony with the door shut but if your room smelled like smoke was a $250 cleaning fee well if you smoke on the balcony and walk straight in you will smell like smoke just a little confusing,

1, poor service, request single question but replied in a month time, that's unacceptable. 2, The general contact number i called never have anyone answer during week day time, so ridiculous. 3, Pls send email and sms to client confirm they got your instruction when late check in and guess what? you sent to the wrong mobile, we are so worry run around when we arrived, because no one in office. 4, The last thing you need to change your voice mail include your contact mobile rather than told guests press 0 speak to operator, the fact no one ever answer, especially late check in. Above info inform you to let you know how to improve customer service so you get more peoples booking via booking.com Thank you

Location was excellent - for beach, Bowls Club and Hoey Moey are all straight across the road. The pool and surrounding sun deck, gardens, BBQ area, spa etc were really lovely. Free secure parking underneath was appreciated.

Apartments are all privately owned, so possibly all of different quality. Ours was really, really old, poorly maintained, and really quite shabby. This was very disappointing, as we loved the location and setting.

I liked the pool area for the kids and close to shops and attractions.

The initial response when reporting a water leak from the room above us. The initial comment was not sure what I can do but I'll come and have a look. The water was pouring in at the time. Then they went and spoke to the cleaners beforehand to ask if there was a leak...slow responding to the issue.

We just wanted to say a very BIG thank you to Melinda and her team. Our car broke down on the way back from the Gold Coast and we required accommodation and then extended check outs, additional nights. We were unable to find a mechanic who had 'time' or 'availability' to see us for up to three weeks. Travelling with a young family and children who were due to be back at school, Melinda went above and beyond in her assistance to find us a mechanic and had us on our way two days later. We could not fault her professionalism and also the care of the mechanics who also went above and beyond in taking on another client although they were fully booked.

The room we had did smell of smoke despite no smoking signs.

The location was great, close to coffee shops and places of dinner. The beach was great and easy to access. The pool and spa were well kept.

There were a lot of steps on the property that were not marked well. It was confusing to find our room at first. The aircon couldn't be adjusted.

For the price, the apartment was way better than I was expecting. It had everything we needed, was bigger than I expected and was clean. The ladies on reception were very helpful and changed my booking for me without charge due to the bad weather. The kids loved the pool. The apartments are located close to lots of eatery's, the beach etc. We only stayed one night as we were on a road trip. I'd stay here again when we do the trip again.

Nothing not to like for the price.

Great location across Rd from beach, bowls club and local pub within 2min walk. very clean nicely heated pool, 2x spas and sauna.

the wifi codes we got from the reception were endless but was a bit of a pain having to log in with new code every time you got off the internet or went out somewhere- minor issue.

The smokers. I'd prefer if you made it non-smoking and they went off-property. Only smelt them once or twice but if I could smell it so could my kids. There are some apartments without balconies facing the pool; they should be for the smokers,
